50$ coming soon.

Why do u think that? Based on what ?

He meant LTC.

Ltc will probably be first to $50 but don't worry, xmr will get there soon

If shitcoins like dash and zec can reach 75-100+ I have no doubt that solid coins can do it too, even without spending half a million a month on Facebook ads
..

You see, shitcoins need a lot of energy in marketing to make +100%. Real coins get 25000% attention only on spreading the word, so wait a month, buy in at 0,013 and then just watch and wait surpassing the rest of the shitcoins  Grin Cheesy

Seriously I don't get it why Monero seems to get so much negging by the media and etc, compared to how much other coins much closer to clear scams (*cough* Dash *cough* ZCash *cough*) are given a clear benefit of the doubt (totally undeserved)...
A big part of it is that many of the media companies have an ownership stake in those coins. For example, Coindesk has a disclaimer saying that they have an ownership stake in Zcash, which goes a long way in explaining why they post so many favorable articles about Zcash and why they'll help to spread FUD about Monero.
Welcome to the world of Crypto-Currency politics. Luckily, regardless of the big companies and recent pumps in other altcoins, Monero seems to be able to hold it’s own and remain popular in it’s user base.
That’s all that really matters when it comes to a crypto currency, right?

I bought a few today and will hold for a while. Should we expect a massive pump soon ? I have seen that XMR is holding its position wisely. No sudden move in price, volume. It is getting more attention without making any chaos. Silent, steady progress is within xmr. Finger crossed.

I'm quite impressed the dip was not lower from the linkability explorer, maybe people are smartening up? I'm glad I could get some @ this price. Smiley

Not much but at least I have a few again.

Seeing at the past history of Monero, that stability is the sign of an upcoming pump. Wink

Heyhey,

hope you all are hodling well. Lets discuss some fundamental price-driving factors again.
My eyes bleed from technical analysis bullshit (yet to see a rich technical analyst)..

- What are the tx-fees on Monero right now?
- How is the Darknet adoption?
- Are there any hardware-wallets coming in?
- Any progress on scaling?
- Any progress on bitcoin-compatible RPC API?
- How many Monero did the referee get from Real Madrid?

Anyone?

This is far best website with Monero information's, you see there also fees cost and also compared with bitcoin. https://www.monero.how/
You can never know what traders pay with but speculation is that on alphabay  99% is used BTC and 1% is used Monero.

Wow. Unbelievable I never stumbled across this website.

Thank you sir.

Are you using beta 1 or beta 2? If it is the former, you are probably stuck on the wrong (alternate) chain. Please update to beta 2:

I had the same issue. Update fixes the stuck sync. process.

To me it also seems that the new version syncs faster than the former one. Nevertheless I heard about a bug in the new version that needs to fixed. Anyone else heard about it?

Beta 2 is a lot better. Still not even close to the Ethereum wallet though.

Are there any plans to allow integration with Ledger Nano S even using the Monero GUI wallet?

I desperately want to have my Monero keys on a hardware wallet.

Actually, I feel like Monero is (partially) an exception to that rule. I think there are a lot of people who use Monero because of it’s anonymity features and not as a run-of-the-mill speculation.

Hmm… I guess I never made that connection. Thanks for the Tip, I will have to purchase a bit of Monero soon.

I hope to soon post here a chart or table showing the amounts of moneros traded at any given price level (0-50k, 50-100k, etc.). In my opinion, monero has during all its exchange history been a rangebound coin. The all-time-weighted-average is about 400k, and most of the trade has been conducted at a narrow range of 300-500k. When the range is definitely broken, there is no knowing what the next trading range would be.

i think as time passes by, monero will be know in the market as what does other coin must have. it is too mine, i am mining it without using an investment just a computer only. i think more and more people will get to interested on it and put some investments on it. it will be rank as one of the successful coin other than coins that are being there.

Ledger has Monero on their public roadmap, but they are not sure at the moment if the Nano S has the power to handle Monero. Trezor is busy with Trezor 2 so Monero is not a priority.

LOL... I have this applet showing Monero price in BTC, and today kinda panicked seeing we're back into touching the 015's

"OMG WTF XMR gettin' monkey hammered" ??

But then looking at CoinMarketCap I see it's really only off of $20 by less than 20 cents...?  Currently about $19.87...?

So... all still okay mostly, you guys think?

Any reason to change anything, rebalance portfolio, add/remove XMR to some other coin or whassup really?

All this "stability" lately and slow-bleed really does kinda sorta feel like it ought to be a set up for a nice punchy fast spike rally, maybe quick POP to $50...?

SoonTM...? ? ? ? ? ? ?   Tongue
