They still have to buy back around 70k XMR, checked the lending market before the stream (dump) started and there was around 150k XMR, after the dump only 44k, now 70k already there, this whalepanda guy should to go to jail  Angry
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Tried to listen to the stream, but audio quality is just too horrible.  Hopefully someone can post some bullet points when its over.

What a fucking bell end.

I've been here since the very very beginning.

Whether you have a point to prove or not you've just fucked over real people and given insider information to friends to make a killing. Basically fraud
I'm out, thanks for all the fish the project is a joke with someone like you at the helm

Like we need a lecture from him on the merits of FOSS. At what point did he decide we need to be patronized to this extent? He really needs to get over his troll thing.

If Monero is to become a global currency - one that's actually useful to people - FP needs to grow the fuck up.

Couldn't agree more. Whether he likes it or not, he's the public face of Monero, and a stunt like this really hurts Monero's reputation.

This is glorious.  Fluffy is now tied with Samson and Peter for the Best Troll award.  Grin

Just look at all you snowflakes melting into frothy puddles of liquid rage.  Mission accomplished!!!   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I'm watching the live stream and I think I can just about see you behind the podium in front of him. You're either very short or you're on your knees, right?

Now there's a fluffy fluffer if ever I saw one.

What a clusterfuck. Monero lost a lot of good will today. I like to think that fluffypony did not manipulate the market for personal gain. The only news I was able to take away from the lousy audio was that MyMonero is in process of making an Android app, but we knew that a month ago. No release date I could hear.

Of course. What do you think ? Do you really think XMR insiders haven't take any advantage on this ?
"Not your personal pump vehicle" uh ?

That was an awful move Monero, you'll regret it.
Spread the word. Tomorrow XMR insider pump scam on Coindesk.

Monero is not responsible for Fluffys actions. He probably acted on his own.

What a moron he is.  He goes out of his way to manipulate the price and then makes some statement about how XMR is not for "pumping"?   It has to be some kind of insider deal where he essentially bought and then pumped the price higher himself and sold/shorted with his "announcement".  Either that or he is just a pure idiot, plain and simple.

Is there proof? This kind of FUD is typical for the cryptosphere.
