Coming down to the wire  

Almost certainly $100 in my estimation.  But I will take either.  And an order of magnitude more.

-EDIT- Jeebus right when I post this BTC takes a dump under 10k instantly. LOL. 

It is hard sometimes not to feel like the whole thing is a big headfake lol.

It is hard sometimes not to feel like the whole thing is a big headfake lol.

Price of bitcoin is just high. If you put 2016 price over 2020 chart you see we should be at around $8000 at this moment. Price rose from mid December for full two months. Yes it can grow more without any correction. At start of the last year price grew even strait 5 months. But my point is it is nothing unusual if Bitcoin correct now even for weeks or a month or more.

People are just to hyped and optimistic and think it is 2017 already.

I'm glad you took almost 8 months before deciding to commit. you sir have done well on the DYOR train. I studied this project for almost a year before deciding to buy in. But then again because I did my research I was able to figure out that there was something severely suspicious with the amount of coins being dumped and the fact I could not mine much. that of course was the event we now call the cripple miner, which was inherited from the bytecoin scam crew.

Now you have 1 activity, 1 post and 1 merit in 8 months.
Although I would be very surprised if you are not a alt account.

Not an alt account, I'm a living breathing flesh and blood man. So yeah, I was chasing alt coins forever, but most of those are traps. The fear porn articles about Monero are going to cause a lot of people to miss out on real money

It is not just articles. Some people truly believe in to it. I keep reading posts on Monero subredit asking if running Monero node is legal. They see that a big part of taxes that are collected will be much harder to collect when everyone use Monero and dont have imagination that Governments can simply change the way to collect taxes.  Much bigger threat to governments is permissionless decentralized money that they cant control. The anonymity part is way way way less of a threat.

The government keeps demanding proof of source of funds for bitcoin more and more. Also, wait til you see what Steve Mnuchin has in store for us later in the year. Government heavy handedness will drive people into the loving arms of morono.
