Wow check out the stability. XMR is moving like shit stuck to a blanket. Until BTC can decide what to do I suppose I expect more of the same Man XMR has always tended to be kinda rangebound. If I was a trader I think it might have been a reliable play.

Monero is pretty stable against BTC in the last weeks, anyone knows why?
If you look long term Monero was one of most if not the most stable coin behind Bitcoin. Very correlated with what Bitcoin was doing. Last 3 weeks Bitcoin was between $6800 and $7300. In past such stability was not that often. Monero just copied it. Worlds eyes are focused right now on other things. Monero is building its momentum fro when eyes of the world will be bored with other things. Momentum get built with constant increase of transactions and with sub 2% emission inflation that will happen in less then 3 weeks time.

I decided to play the Barting charts (after all this time just buying) and threw a chunk up @ .00828300 - 0.00839300 about a month back and it finally got sold on that spike on the 24th and I then threw a buy in @ 0.007960 - 0.007925 to get it back.
Well it all worked out and I got it back today but I was FOMO'in bad yesterday and it took a ton of restraint to not grab it back then.
This is the first time I have sold ANY since I started buying back since my re-accumulating after Alphabay.
For the payout it was not worth the stress, I was concerned I was going to see a spike and not get my Preciouses back!
I am not cut out for trading anymore and guess I have to just stick with holding.
Anyway I'm happy I got a few more Romeros but I felt way too exposed when I didn't have them in my greedy little hands and only had BTC in their place.

I went from 1400 Monero to 700 Monero like that. I listened to Risto, did a trade thought better of it, cancelled it and went to bed. Next day it was big up. I was like phew glad I cancelled that. Looked on Pollo. FS it went through not cancelled. Bough back in desperately at a huge loss. Sad face Since then back to terrified to trade again. I am at 800 now from 1 brave move. No appetite for the risk.

Man sorry to hear that, I repeatedly warned people for years not to listen to him but he had his little bunch of faggots yelling everyone down anyone calling him out and I got sick of continually pointing out that he was manipulating people when no-one even acknowledged I was correct. I think they were all afraid to call that scammer out because he had their Romeros hostage in his scam. They wanted me to be the friar in that thing and I told them I would join as soon as they got all the in game coins on a immutable chain. Yeah no big surprise the scammer would never do that. BTW, that was when he was saying it was going to tank to .0085 in a week from .015 right? Or was it .00085 from 0.0015? Shit I can't quite remember that time he tried to fud (shake the tree) us. BTW/BTW: Love the "Never go full Mindrust" tagline, I didn't notice that before. Lol

Actually not his fault this time.
He called a form of barting at the time.
I wanted to join it, but my first go was it left and never came back.
The same lesson every BTC person wants to make you know.
The fail was all on me.
Bonus lesson: don't drunk trade

LOL, yeah that is what I thought was going to cost me the other day when I was waiting for the price to drop back into my buyback zone. nothing worse than not getting back in after years of holding because you took a chance to increase your position.

Lol Actually Risto was the reason i bought into Monero and i was quite happy to read his mathemathical theories and his calculations. I think his personal story is a bit shitty but his eyes on crypto is or was very informative for me and i think he was also part of the success of Monero. His "game" was intereseting (never bought into it or played it), that's why people went there, but everybody get's hacked sometimes

It could have been worse. You could have been trading for some other coin and then you only had eth instead of xmr. But what a crazy deal just to go for that kind of sats:P I have not sold anything,,, not holding so much and a bit sick that I did not manage to accumulate even more. I lost (literally) a huge sum of money some time back and was forced to borrow, so paying back all that instead of accumulating hurt me bad during the past periods. Don't trade man.

Today I am just starting to study daily trading, as well as how to correctly make a technical analysis. In addition, on all the resources that I visit, they respond very positively about Altcoin Monero , because this coin has very high volatility, which gives unlimited opportunities for earning using various trading strategies. According to research data, Monero’s growth potential is still not exhausted, and therefore it is obvious that even with the use of the simplest trading strategies on Forex, you can earn very well and most importantly do not provoke frequent triggering of stop orders. I now try to work only on trading simulators, but meanwhile, when choosing coins for real daily trading, Monero will be one of the first.

His "game" was intereseting (never bought into it or played it), that's why people went there, but everybody get's hacked sometimes You know... it will be interesting to see if/when Tari gets through it's alpha/beta phases, if something like Risto's game will be able to go online in a more "decentralized" and "trustless" manner. I tried playing that game initially when I got into xmr, but I just really never was into those sorts of games. I'm sure someone like Smooth or any others old school players will take on that sort of project. As for trading, I think everyone has their own version of "woulda shoulda couldas" that lost them a lot of money. I think the more you are convinced of the soundness of Monero in general as being the best crypto, the more comfort you might get in just buying 1 xmr when you have an extra $60 or whatever. Steadily stack them piconeroj. Risto didn't get me into xmr at first... it was AmericanPegasus who spear headed my interest. RIP... hopefully katie will come online again though if she gets re-interested and rejoin the convo.
