It is funny to see how even crypto media is taking this crypto ransom for secrets news https://decrypt.co/29027/hackers-crypto-ransom-secrets-trump-lady-gaga  as a what if they demand ransom in our coin, how rich we will get.  Instead of thinking how transparent ledger crpytocurrencies will make revealing such secrets so easy. And even such news dont open their eyes that only opaque leader cryptocurrenicies are widely useful for the mases.

It's a real shame that they show the world they don't care about privacy and try to blame the coin for the actions of its users. This is never a good idea to find a scapegoat and call the case closed.

Its all one specific country. One where freedom is not as taken for granted as it is for us.

The big scandal will get sorted but sure enough Monero is doing its job because they probably failing to trace all the involved parties, at least through that method.

Do not forget that all Korean exchanges have international and local Korean exchange. Monero is listed on all international ones. https://www.bithumb.pro/en-us/spot/trade?q=XMR-USDT  It says $1.7 million volume today.  Of course none of us were able to trade on Koran Bithumb anyway.

Oh it's gonna work..  But just not that well.  There are gonna be a lot of addresses ranked low or high by mistake and what it's really doing is hurting BTC's fungibility.  I mean really..  Wasn't it one of the primary reasons why why Cryptonote was developed?

Like how BTC slapped everybody behind the head to wake them up and see what's up, XMR is gonna do the same thing all over again.

Monero is one of the best privacy coin in market and i respect the development with strategies implemented by the team lately  but you shouldnt compare the price of the coins because they both have there own enthusiasts. With that been said, Zcash is currently having a problem (some expert said it not that privacy as people believed) right now which was what i believe triggered it dump in price though i dont know if the claim is genuine cause i dont follow the coin.

Despite the nifty technology in Zcash, it's been just privacy theater from the beginning.  And the "founder's reward" is one of the smelliest shitpiles in all of crypto.  For some reason Zooko comes across as such a sweet humble cryptographer who just feels so good now that he can buy groceries.  And I am sure that is what convinced Gemini to list it.  Not a chunk of the founder's reward.

For some reason Zooko has me blocked on Twitter... I can't imagine why.

What do you mean 'one of'?  It's the one and only really super mega best privacy coin out there.  I really don't get why everybody isn't getting into it.  I mean yeah sure, BTC...  It's the biggest.  But XMR complements BTC if you want to hide your stash.
