^^^--- Yeah nice seeing the steady rise without something like a huge wash going on.

It will get paper dumped again, people really need to learn not to leave coins on exchanges.

And when using an exchange only use one with proven reserves.

shitcoiners don't understand that Bitcoin and Monero both are literal scarce resources unlike their P&D scams.

So knowing me, this will be the death knell for the price of Monero that I post this, but I have to do it.

It's hard not to sell a little here. Actually, I think that might be a good idea.  We are in the territory that Monero has been in a handful of times in its lifespan in U.S. dollar terms.  And so far, it's falling back down to the lower end of its channel, I guess.

But to say a cursed phrase, I really feel like it might be a little different this time. 🤪

I think as the world awakens to crypto and Bitcoin and what fiat currency really is... And what CBDCs are, and so on.  They have the same revelations of us, old school, otherwise Bitcoin Maxis had back in the day.  It was before there even were such things as Bitcoin maxis and the world of this forum and the Bitcoin community was so much less tribal than these seeds were there, but such an innocent time.

But we figured out that Monero did something special, something different than a million other purpose-driven coins, and something Bitcoin could never do.  And I think most of us realized that came with a trade-off, a set of trade-offs that weren't all good, but were good for certain things, in fact, best.

I have a feeling the price may reflect an uptick in the more cypherpunky element of the world as they realize Monero is still special.

I check back once in a while. I like to read yall's comments when they happen. Doing well, just being patient AF.

I have been playing around with retoswap. Nice way to get some change in my pocket. Other than that, not too much.

Never tried it, hows it working?

Is it safe?

costs?

I have not cashed out anything since 2015.

Good for you not touching it since 2015! I wish...

This is my first time technically cashing out (not counting some really stupid yet very painful leverage attempts, ugh.) There have been issues this past year with retoswap you can look up but those bugs have been patched. I am just using it for small amounts and so I feel it is safe for that. Maybe I will ramp up down the road. There are tiny miner fees and 0.1% maker fees.
