For some reason I can't find a desktop version for counterparty wallet? Where can I download it?
There is only the web version @ CounterWallet.io. I hope this is a joke... So how am I suppose to trust what happens there? Can I have some guidance regarding their web wallet security, how is this working? Dis you invest without any knowledge about counterparty ? Did I invested in counterparty? Doh

I looked briefly at my Counterparty wallet connected to my GEMS wallet and saw there was an offline cold wallet store option in the menu.
Anyone have any experience they can share about this function?

I took part in the crowdsale. Now I have some gems in my koinify wallet, but zero gems in the getgems app wallet.
As I understand my airdrop share depends mainly upon: 1- how many users I have invited so far 2- the amount of gems already owned by me (my gems wallet - as displayed in the app)
How do I make sure that I get some credit (for buying those gems during the crowdsale) when airdrops take place ? Do I have to send my gems from my koinify wallet to my gems address? (the one attached to my phone number?) Or is there some other way to notify the system?
If you want to receive credit on gems owned you need to send the gems to the application, since i am pretty sure it gets calculated from the gems app account. That's my guess as well. I understand I will be able to send them from my koinify wallet once crowdsale is over? Shouldn't they put it somewhere clearly explained in the app or on the website? Am I the only one worried to get as many gems as possible and not miss anything?

Counterparty is nothing more than metadata in the Bitcoin blockchain. So you can send a counterparty asset to any bitcoin wallet, paper or otherwise. So, anything you read about a bitcoin paper wallet applies to a counter party paper wallet.

Get a counterparty wallet. You can login to the web version of the counterparty wallet with the passphrase you created during the GetGems registration and move your GEMZ from Koinify.

About the funding they got from Magma VC, can someone explain how can they profit from this is they are not getting any coins? Unless they are getting coins besides the 50 million offered in the ICO.

Thank you everyone for the support, the additional funding will help us scale our company faster which is necessary since the mainstream instant messaging market is very competitive. MagmaVC, ”We are looking for disruption, differentiation, distribution and a great winning team. We felt Gems has very good characteristics in all four parameters. Chat and value transfer is a growing trend.”: http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-messenger-app-getgems-raises-400k-waze-investor/

well, this is big. Congrats to the gems team and us investors and stakeholders! I am having a hard time to compute my profit strategy question: the pre-sale perk of recieving gems from not-invited users during the airdrop is associated with your koinify account or with those gems? So, what happens if I sell my gems later on? Do I loose this perk then? Does it make sense to still buy some small amounts of gems on differnt koinify accounts? thanks

I introduced several friends and acquaintances to Gems at the moment. As a student, I notice it works especially well when being at a student party/drinks, when people are already a bit tipsy and you explain a few of them they can earn money with an 'improved version of whatsapp'. As soon as a few download it, more people become curious and also want it.
Another strategy that I want to apply, is to replace all my groupchats from whatsapp, to Gems, by making them all download the App and decide to do the communication through the new groupchat. Unfortunately we will have to wait for the iOS release to be able to do this, since among university students the Apple market share is relatively high.
@ Daniel Peled
I have one more comment: when helping these students to download the App, I noticed that my name was not automatically precompleted in the registration process. Since I was standing next to them, I could supervise and ensure they were filling in my name, but if you invite people over whatsapp and you are not with them at that particular moment, they might skip that step.
I thought it would be pre-completed? Are you guys aware of this possible flaw?
For the rest, congratulations with the funding from Magma VC! You should try to roll this out asap, because it would not surprise me if Facebook and Whatsapp are as we speak already working on similar features for Whatsapp, besides competition from other start-ups.

Too expensive. 10 billion coins 1 BTC = 10,000 GEMZ It was 15,000 before. Anyone who bought it during that time would dump it on people who bought late once trading goes live. How do you expect price to grow with that many coins?

Based on what ? The advertising system is not yet launched. We have no idea how the demand for tokens will grow.

How do you expect price to grow with that many coins? Its hard to say, if we don't get a lot of downloads in the coming weeks and months the price could drop quite a bit as its already priced as a top 20 coin. But also of course it could rise a lot if we get 1m downloads etc. I wish i could buy more at 15,000 but 10,000 carries too much risk, ill wait for the exchanges. What is the latest on when and where we can trade?
