I have agreed to do a complete overhaul of the website, but again I would like to help form this PR team. We really need more updates to the community and to establish more transparency. I understand keeping the 2.0 details hush hush, but we need POS asap there is no possible excuse for not having this. May I suggest a rate of just under 8% this would combat world inflation and keep us viable.

I believe (maybe I'm mistaken) that the general impression people have is that different projects are being handled independently by everyone involved and without anyone to keep it all co-ordinated. I can clearly see that some community members are getting frustrated at what they feel is a lack of connection and other community members are asking basic questions which they feel shouldn't have to be asked.

Somebody is doing reddit, several somebodies are working on videos, code is being written, a website is being built, somebody is counting the beans, etc etc. But who is keeping track of what ALL is being done and who knows what progress is being made by everyone else?

I'm thinking that a collective private meeting between all the members of the various teams might not be a bad idea. Get Troll, Xircom, website admin, the reddit mods, etc all together to get up-to-date with each others' current status, discuss the roadmap, review the combined progress, draft some announcements, synchronize some plans so that everyone is on the same timing, and then make some kind of report to the community.

Is it time yet to improve the overall organization of the individual tasks into a bigger cohesive picture of what's what?

xX_otto_Xx and others would likely be a bit more at ease and relaxed if they had something to bite into and chew on.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

More liquidity would help too - how hard is it to get listed on Bter?   Chinese exchanges trade on different timezones and can help prevent dead zones in trade activity which kills volume.  Also chinese exchanges sometimes just get excited about totally different things than western ones and can disrupt deadlocks whale battles (which usually end in a big dump when seller whale gets tired of sitting on a lifeless investment and cuts his losses to catch action elsewhere).

I think Bter is part of the twitter barrage on the Reddit site... If we all continue to hit them with add requests they might add the coin in short order... Im on my way to tweet them right now!!

You would need to ask the devs about adding new exchanges. We tried to do it once but the devs asked us to postpone adding new exchanges for now.

Announcement:

The team has agreed with Krypto Kings to do a press release this Saturday evening, US time. Next Saturday our whole team will have an interview with Krypto Kings. In this interview we will talk about going further in to the 2 Gen coin and about what to expect from it and why the 2 Gen is a true 2 Gen.
Further more, we had a long discussion in our team re POS feature, but as we said before, if we apply POS to the 1 Gen, then we will be stuck on the code, even when we release the 2 Gen, so that would be a bad thing. We have looked through the possibility of making a buy back feature of the coins as well, meaning that 1 to 3 or 1 to 4 could be a good solution. By doing this we will gain some mineable coins and we will be able to rise the mining reward. We will make a POLL about some options, so community decides what we should do and if you guys have other idea, now is the time to shoot, but keep in mind, that we need to prevent the 1 gen code in the 2 gen code.

ROI:

We have managed to make a deal with MAT (Mining-Asics-Technology) so it will be soon possible to use LTCD as a payment option for buying MAT miners. Right now our team and MAT are working on the NDA. As soon as we settle on an agreement we will adapt the wallet and MAT shop, so its possible to exchange your hard saved LTCD for mining equipment...

Video Contest:

We have got some nice videos and will start a poll, so we are able decide who is going to be the lucky winner for the commercial video on our homepage.

New Contest With Big Winner Price:

We have got a very nice price for a lucky winner, we just need to find the right competition. MAT will give the lucky winner a 40 Mhash Scrypt Miner.....

General Info:

We have noticed a lot of pushing in the forum and as you guys can see, we haven't been sitting on our hands. We are a great team that works as much as we can even though we all have daily jobs to attend to. To make LTCD actually worth something is NOT an easy task and this is something only few coins would ever dream of.
What the team needs from the community right now is space and time to allow us to work even further. Please, keep the coins in your wallets to let the price go up, so you get more buying power at MAT. http://www.mining-asics-technologies.com/
We will redesign the new homepage since the community didn't like it that much. It could be that we would need to bring some help, on this point. This would save us a lot of time, so the devs could focus on the 2 Gen.
Troll has a lot of things to deal with at his day job and it's only possible for him to work on the 2 Gen in his spare-time. We have been talking about getting a second dev in, but we have to do this by a contract since this will reveal some of the 2 Gen code and we do not want this code to be distributed.
If someone knows about any or if you are a hell of a good coder yourself, then please we would like to hear from you - drop the main dev an email: dev@litecoindark.com.
Roadmap will be rewritten this weekend by main dev and posted, so keep an eye for the new roadmap.

Please remember to sign up on reddit page and LTCD forum. More nice things will be revealed in the future.

Keep up the LTCD spirit !

The LTCD Team

I meant what is going on with development, as a passer buyer what is expected in the future of this coin. I would actually like to help. I originate from the vericoin community. Last I heard you had a new website going up, do you need help with that because I can have it done in 2 nights. Yes I also develop I know a few people also. My main concerns are,

is POS implemented ?
Is the website up ? I want to read about the devs and see progress on work being done on this site
Do you guys want your own forum ?
Are the Devs confident enough to do PR, or have a community manager to do it for them ?
Do you have a basecamp, or slack type place where you invite trusted community member to help in your projects ?
Will you be starting a crowd funding system or simple website to assist in your goals ?
If more btc is needed to fund projects maybe consider starting a pool ? winner gets half other half goes to goals.
More importantly then all that what innovation will separate you from other coins?

I am a supporter look at my history and you will see that. I am also a holder of ltcd and really want to see you guys prosper with a name like this. Also as I mentioned in the past I am a builder for VRCradio.com also working on 16 other crypto related sites. I dont play template chump change games.  You community is asking for updates, if you need help get some bounties posted. Set up a leader program for people to help promote LTCD. If you are willing to do an interview to show you coin to the public and tell people what sets you apart from other coins I can get you an interview with Kevondo. Anyway I am saying I would like to see better from EVERYONE in this community as not just the overworked Dev.

Our community would definitely benefit from your skills. Maybe for improving the website for example. Thanks for your kind offer.

Forum - we do have our own forum elsehere.

Hey guys,

I thought I would put up our own Hall of Fame on the Reddit site to highlight special individuals
who have donated coins for prizes and who have donated their time and skills to help Litecoindark grow!!
Maybe you write an article about it or create a cool graphic or video... Your name will make it on the Wall!!

Or if you know of anyone that should be added to the list please let us know who they are  and why you feel they should
make it on the wall and we will add them!!

Cheers,

Ghosty

I like you a whole lot better when you are being optimistic and mannerly.

If you really mean to push the price higher, you'll need people to work together. Pick one exchange and have everyone be on that exchange at about the same time. Everyone buys some LTCD immediately from the sell orders (don't put in low buy orders that wait to be filled). Even if each person only buys 0.02BTC, the price will be moving upward. Very likely, other people on the exchange who aren't part of the community will see the candles and decide to start buying. The price will be going upward even more.

The thing is, the price will gradually begin to slip back down over the course of a few days, if history repeats itself. This isn't yet the proper time for the price to stay up. Right now, the general trend in many coins is heading downward for various genuine reasons. So don't expect a miracle today.

Glad to hear an update, If everyone will pull there sells order maybe we can get the price to rise. We got volume now, just need to push the price higher.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Make sure you check out the LiteCoinDark youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fb8ixDXwqQs  made by fire rabbit

If you like LTCD then "like" the video and get the word out about how awesome it is!

A vote for fire rabbit is a vote for Freedom

Investor Note: I have no affiliation with LTCD and don't own any coins, my friend fire rabbit does leet videos and likes the Coin.
