It was stated at the OP that "(TOKEN may not be withdrawn until it has been converted to UNITY. They may be traded if desired.)". So for those who bought up overpriced, I don't think there's anything to be done from this. They put the bidding price very high to outbid the rest of the buyers. It's clearly greed on their side too.

By the way allowing nxt buys at 114 each is not resolving the problem.

It now gives an advantage to nxt buyers over btc and btcd.

Your now allowing them to go for an instant profit if they sell their tokens on the btc or btcd market.

I just picked up some TOKEN at 127 from the "Asset Issuer". AE performed flawlessly, I bought the TOKEN in less than 2 minutes.

The first day on BBR price fly, Bittrex had the double price of Polo because the market was very shallow. Some ignorant people were paying double the price because
a) they weren't even aware it was half on Polo (their ignorance)
b) they wanted to jump to the train before it's too late (they took the risk).

Yes, it was a big mistake selling was enabled on BTER but there is nothing to refund here; selling wasn't banned so you cannot blame the sellers.
Furthermore, there is no authority on AE at all, you will not be able to prevent if someone is paying double the price. Be it their greed, ignorance or a typo.

I sold all my next into this, I am so nervous and stupid, please don't do this to me I was acting in good faith at buying at 500 next as I thought was price when I came in and then a few seconds it went to 127 next, I am smoking like an idiot now, please bter refund it all my money I had or at least make it as the rest who bought at 127 next, I am so naïve

People are allowed to sell the moment they get their shares. That's the way it works in real life. If you disagree, it's more of a BTER issue then the dev.

The guy bought from someone who was selling at 500NXT. He himself had to move his mouse and click on the buy option. No one forced him.

A quick look at the order book would have alerted him and it's on the same page less then 2 inches down from the buy/sell column.
