2015.01.15-24 ANTS2, ANTS3, & UMISOO Payouts

Although we are temporarily not able to switch our machines off and on based on the wildly fluctuating bitcoin price, Bitmain will continue to make PPS payments during this time. For the period of Jan. 15-24, hashrate payouts will work as follows: Each day, we will calculate mining revenue based on PPS payout using the bitcoin price at 4pm Beijing time (0800 GMT) for ANTS2, ANTS3, and UMISOO holdings. If revenue is lower than maintenance costs, users will not receive a payout, but they also do not need to pay the maintenance fee. If revenue exceeds maintenance costs, a PPS payout will be made as usual.

If operating cost exceeds revenues for ten days continuously (cost:profit>=1.0), these machines will be switched off indefinitely.

As long as costs do not exceed revenues for ten days in row, payouts will continue to be made in this manner.

Ok so it is 11 am Bejing and price is staying over 200 and S3 is profitable by a decent margin, why don't i see confirmation that it is back online?

The bitcoin price is still dangerously close to the level at which machines must be shut off. It takes several hours to bring the whole farm back online, we cannot turn it on and off repeatedly with the wildly fluctuating coin price.

how they plan to payout seems more than fair.  I am sure if bitcoin does manage to go higher and stabilize at 250+ they will go back to the usual quicker.

KNC works on Solar and wind panels... hydro,GREEN ENERY not free but... if you own generator then is  cheaper...


all Cloud mining farms if they have to pay elecricity they are damping bitcoin price, couse they have change BTC for FIAT and pay Bills .
HASHNEST 4PHash is cc5000 USD /Day just for electricity ? mothly =150,000.00 USD= cc 750BTC where is then ROI and other maintenences.. pay people,...

Well I have engineered a free energy concept and sent it to NASA but for on earth reasons you will need large solar panels and turbines for wind and water power.

I agree with you there if they was to upgrade all hardware to S5 and i guess some S4 will be ok would make a big differance. I am sure there is people out there who have extremely cheap power or maybe even free for whatever reason. They would take S2 units off hashnest hands if the price is low enough, then hashnest will have little extra money from sale of old units and they wont have the price to keep them going anymore. If they had solar and wind poer would be pretty cool i would say pricey at start up but then once panel are paid for will be free power

yeah see that is wjere alot of problems come from like you said alot of this big farms sell bitcoin to fiat of their choice. Then they can pay the bills they got with i am sure the power bill taking the number one spot as to biggest expense. If they has combination of solar and wind power like you mentioned then will drop the price they spending overall on power AFTER they make roi on cost of upgrades for power. I know china has cheap coal power and nuclear in some areas but i know they can also make cheap solar panels

People, you bought S2 cloud mining contracts... not S3, not S4 and certainly not S5! Quit begging for something you didn't pay for.

There is a reason why the contracts sold for the price they did. And that's because the S2 is nearing its EOL (end-of-life). These contracts were always going to become worthless at some point. And if you weren't smart enough to calculate the EOL, don't blame Hashnest for your stupidity.

I would not count these contracts out yet. Difficulty is going to go down due to cex and others and btc is over 200 again.
