You know what would be neat Hashnest, is a reinvest strategy for the PACMiC. I get the bitcoin paid out to me, but can't reinvest it until I get another bitcoin, so they are just sitting in my account collecting dust. Are there plans, or could you start talking about, a way to reinvest funds into the PACMiC program? It could be done on a daily or weekly basis or have the rules slightly different. IDK quite how it would work, but I am sure something could be thought up to get those bitcoins put back to work for me and make it more of a compounding thing.
Cool suggestion, exactly we are developing a feature that users can choose auto-reinvest their bitcoins.

Tupsu,
You do understand that you don't get paid for a block until a few more blocks have been found after your block is found so the network can confirm the block?
If you sell your hash after your block is found, but before it is confirmed you don't get the block payment, negative or positive.
So from what I can see..
You sold out your last 505 ghs antS5 hashpower at 2015-02-22 11:54, so you have not got the mining profit from these two blocks.
maybe you owned the hash at the time the block was found, but you didn't own it at
2015-02-22 12:31:42 2015-02-22 12:34:43 when the blocks were confirmed by the network.
*** By the way that also works if the block is going to be a negative payout. If you own the block when it is going to be negative but sell it before it is confirmed.... the new owner will get the negative block reward at the time it confirms ( ownership )
It is a beautiful explanation. But do not forget , Antpool paid Hasnest out BTC after 6 confirmation and at that time I had the miners. Hasnest page was just down this time. It's not about money at all. I've bought from them a total of 60x S5 and today I have a 30 TH / s of S5 on their page.

Yeah could be bad luck but over 4 hours without a block and the site down.
I thought it might be them getting minerlink up, but now I am not sure.
I wonder if they will honor their 100% uptime guarantee, that will be a big test for the validity of their service if it was down.
EDIT - Not sure if the data is right but it looks like antpool hashing dipped a few times in last few hours of bad luck but if the Antpool.com data is right it looks like it never went offline.
I guess just some of the external hashers probably pulled some of their hashing while the pool is having some sort of problems. Only dipped from 60 ph to 48 for a bit from what I can see, like I said if the data is correct.

I get that message sometimes but just reload the page from the homepage and it works most of the time. I had that happen earlier to me but just refreshed and it worked.

The site appears to be back up. Not a huge earn overnight though I have watched some very strange luck for pools over the year. Right now with 6 hours and no antpool block found is approaching one of those times. That would be only 4 blocks per day Luck will turn around but it is concerning when you go way out of the ordinary, especially when hashnest is experiencing problems. It always makes you wonder if the hashnest part of antpool is actually hashing. BUT according to antpool it has been up, just at a lower hashrate probably from small farms pulling hash off antpool. Edit- That is going to be one heck of a negative earnings block. Going to be a lot of of upset people soon who don't fully understand pool luck ( if that is what it is, just bad luck ).

Dear Bitmain Customers, This morning we received a concerning email from a group of hackers threatening Bitmain and our services with a DDoS attack and demanding a ransom payment to prevent the attack. Bitmain is committed to providing the best service possible to our users, and will not invite future attacks of this sort by giving in to the demands of hackers. The hackers have demonstrated that they do possess the capability to execute a DDoS and that this is not an entirely empty threat, although we do not know the full extent of their capabilities. During the next few days, Bitmaintech.com, AntPool, AntPool.com, and&nbs p;Hashnest.com may experience intermittent outages. Our team is working hard to ensure that the effects of any possible attack will be as minimal as possible. For those customers mining on AntPool, please make sure that you have configured your backup pools properly in the event that you are unable to access AntPool. For HashNest users, mining payouts will continue as usual and there is no need to worry about lost revenue. For sales, if you are unable to access our main website, you may contact us directly at info@bitmaintech.com. Thank you for bearing with us during this time. All the best, Bitmain

Will there be compensation for lost time?

Tathata Thanks for sharing that, makes sense.. I missed that. Oh god we found a block BRACE FOR IMPACT! lol I only have contracts at the moment on hashnest and some btc. I don't think contracts are affected by bad or good luck as you get paid for time without maintenance I think. If anyone does have some ant2,3,4,5 would be very curious to how big the negative blocks was for 6 hours. Especially umisoo or ant 2
