That explains why the luck factor is bad. The unknown could be private miners and maybe some of the mining companies that don't want to be known anymore aka cex or josh's gawminers both which froze user mining power
Talking about gaw, I saw the drop of paycoin due to delay in honor program : any news about their SEC inquiries or validation ?
They're a slowly imploding ponzi imo.
Folks were saying that miners still show numbers changing, which leaves 3 possibilities -
-GAW has commandeered the hashrate of their users to stay solvent (theft)
-GAW was never mining and was just playing the ponzi game, and reported numbers were just RNG (securities fraud)
-GAW was mining, but reported numbers were just RNG (not really illegal, just shady as fuck)
Either way, they are breaching their TOS by cancelling cloud mining.
Add to the fact that as soon as bitmain confirmed the sale of several PH to GAW, a bunch of S4's showed up for sale at
http://oneminer.com/ (another GAW property), I'm thinking they were never really mining and the photos they were showing off were from inside a business partner's facility.
Bitmain verified hardware was ordered, but that doesn't mean it was ever racked and stacked. According to suchmoon some of the hardware purchased from oneminer had non-default info so it MAY have been powered on and configured at some point. I don't think anyone really knows.
There's a massive thread going over the whole GAW thing at
