Ok Now we are in the same situation of Cex.io, in the last two months, money go down instead of going up.... very very bad bad bad....

Lost 0,00014826 in the last 36 hours, with my 100Ghs with them, nothing because i'm a small fish but bad situation.....

I would probably be a good idea to sell for .0001   Grin

Come on guys the last three days payouts were well above average. We are paying for this now. People are selling cheap again because of one bad day. Good buying opportunity.

I currently have a negative .44 BTC balance so I feel your pain.

No pain, sold my initial investment and recovered my intial capital, so now i'm playing only with money made from my initial investment.... but probably if they start acting like cex it's time to give up.....

At least HASHNEST is still up and running, even at 86% fees for 1W efficiency...

But there's something really strange about the economics of mining altogether lately IMHO.

PPLNLS take off, all the risk from the pool manager and put all the bad luck, in timing of finding blocks, on the customers shoulders.....

I just hope it isn't more along the lines of what btcguild is doing.  Look at btcguilds 2 week, 3month even lifetime averages..

Btguilds is consistently under 90% 2 week is at 74%, daily is at 76....   with being so close to break even point you can't have anything going wrong under the hood.

With btcguild it has been pretty obvious as it has been going on for over 6 months.  ( enough time that variance should bring about what is expected )

With hashnest I will agree it could just be bad luck but something to watch that they don't have something wrong like btcguild.

Edit - And now it looks like difficulty is going to be positive before it changes Sad  I guess after mining in the sweet spot of the s5's life span we will get the option to buy them also at the end of their life cycyle.

I think bitmain needs to go back to what first brought me to buy hardware from them, giving us customers a reasonable chance to roi.  If you don't there will be a lot less customers left able to keep buying from you.

It will come back to positive shortly.

73 TH - calculate the earnings and fees for the bad day yesterday and you will see.

Huge dump in price on Umisoo. I am going to add another 25 TH if possible. Counting on BTC price rebounding nicely. (And truth be told if it tanks we are all screwed anyway) Too much upside potential to not take the risk.

Gambling. Do you take the risk to make good profit but have a chance to lose your funds? If not, better resist and wait for better times.

Anyone buying Umisoo (or S2) now needs to get their head checked. Seriously! Bitmain is not going to keep subsidizing this losing venture for much longer. Get out now while you still can before Bitmain comes to their senses.

lol while this might be true some people including me are tempted by the super low buy costs. We also have faith the price of bitcoin will go up making the maintanace fees lower .......... i hope

Keep in mind the difficulty is set to drop so even if the price stays the same maintenance fees will be less. Also keep in mind even if you look at payouts per block compared to the S4 the cheap UMISOO price still makes it worthwhile.

Difficulty is NOT dropping for this next change. It dropped with the previous difficulty change but it is going up in 6 or 7 days.

in one Hand :

If you look at the graph on bitcoinwisdom , there is a probability BTC goes up .

but on the other hand the diff is going up by 4.8 %  and we only have 7 % of the global mining power : https://blockchain.info/pools?timespan=24hrs

by the way what could be the 33 % unknown ??

That explains why the luck factor is bad. The unknown could be private miners and maybe some of the mining companies that don't want to be known anymore aka cex or josh's gawminers both which froze user mining power
