It's kind to you, appreciate it (even if the sum of the gifts are now more or equal to the loss :p)

YIIMP IS DOWN--
My miners cannot connect, and the website won't display. --scryptr
Use nicehash. Less profit, but more stable.

YIIMP IS DOWN--
My miners cannot connect, and the website won't display. --scryptr
Use nicehash. Less profit, but more stable. MORE VARIETY ON YIIMP-- I use NiceHash, but there are several algos and coins on YIIMP that earn well. Niche coins can turn a good profit if mined at the right time. Besides, the recent stability problems were due to hacking, not poor pool management. --scryptr

Use nicehash. Less profit, but more stable. Loooot less profit. Basically pissing away earnings. Pretty sure Eps put a limit on the DCR pool, which is a shame. Right now it has like 3% of the network which isn't enough to push down variability.

Epsylon, mining on https://aeon.kryptopool.com/# but also other Aeon pools i noticed that the informative "New block detected" message does not appear. Any clue? P.S. Donation just sent with BTC transaction into 8a5192301da7fb8318377f5a45f72f039b903f8ced21f47c2cd2c0c6de92c535

Thanks, indeed its possible, to know the block height i need to have a standard stratum coinbase, xmr coins doesn't have it (same for equihash nicehash stratum)

@Epsylon
I wonder whether this figures are the same that you have (AEON mining): GTX 940M: slightly less than 160H/s GTX 960M: slightly less than 400H/s GTX 750Ti: slightly less than 600H/s GTX 1070: slightly less than 1100H/s
I expected a bit more from the latter two.
Thanks

the 750ti and the pascal optimal launch settings are very different and depends on the OS and if you use the gpu to display too, ive put a default which is near to the best for these and the 2 OS.
But, well, there is some research to do to find the best for a specific one

I'm using W10 Home (and Pro) 64bit and not using 1050Ti for display as I use the Intel GPU for that. So, other than -l 32x16 what would you recommend me? Thanks P.S. I would greatly appreciate a small guide to build from your SW from source in my Win 64 environment, Visual Studio Community 2015 SP3 and Cuda 8 already installed.

Unfortunately the 2013 version is no longer downloadable from a reputable source, so I've to stay with 2015

Understood. Now, what settings I could play with to improve Aeon mining performances under with my GPU? Thanks

-l, --launch-config gives the launch configuration for each kernel in a comma separated list, one per device. -l AxB with A and B to determine

Thanks. Playing with 960M now: -l 32x16 gives best speed (385H/s), but temps too high for my laptop -l 64x32 gives Cuda fault -l 64x64 gives 120H/s, with temps below 70°C for my laptop (good for unattended mining) -l 16x8 gives 60% of 32x16, with temps on 75-76°C Just to let you know

I eventually managed to get Msvs 2013 Community. I downloaded the zip from your GIT repository, put it in a temp dir loaded the sln and built. All ok apart having a 57MB exe as result (I built as Release, x64). Should I go git clone.... then git checkout [v2.0.0?] and then? Thanks
