Why do people hate islam?

People already had a bad impression about Islam because most terrorist attacks were led by Muslims. However, we should keep in mind that religion doesn't correlate with one's personality. There are good Muslims, and bad Muslims. There are good Christians, and bad Christians. Religion doesn't set someone's attitude and personality.

Mass sexual assaults and child abuse in Europe on western women (In comparison with their population)
Unlike most other cultures and religions (Chinese, Hindi or jewish people). They do not integrate. Muslims tend to stay in one area and close themselves off from the world. When outsiders go to these places. They are usually met with abuse (No go areas)
They treat women no better than dogs. Who are only used for breeding and raising children.

Before people call me ignorant. I lived in a muslim majority part of Britain for over 20 years and there are lots of good muslims. But, over the last decade. I have definitely seen the change. Even in western cities. They have gone from a secular version of Islam to a more militarised version of it that has a dislike for any other culture or religion. I think Europe will see big problems in the future. I really do not see how Islam in it's current form can ever exist with western culture as it is very dominant. These are just my opinions.

Only low educated people hate Islam.. Islamic warriors who show their dissension to governments and system by taking lifes of other innocent people are not true islamic. Because Islam is peaceful religion.

I don't believe that everyone hates muslims nor islam. I personally don't and I think we should first all try to understand something first before we judge it. To generalize and judge without proof is a foolish thing to do.

I am aware that there are people who claim as followers of Islam but are extremists and even practice and do things that are not even supported by their own faith. But these people are either hypocrites or are false followers.

Not everyone hates islam and I think there is no reason to hate them. We might afraid what we heard on the news, but I just believe that some people are being manipulated. There is no bad teaching in islam. They are not being teached to kill and most of them are good people.

Yeah sure.. the same argument again and again. But then the question is, who is a true Muslim? The terrorists always claim that they are following certain verses of the holy Quran, which urges the followers to wage Jihad against the infidels. If this claim is false, then why don't the Islamic clerics clarify it?

People hate Islam because the first thing that come to their mind is terrorism and bombing associated with the religion. Especially in the Middle East, people tend to think that the people residing in the area are terrorists.

I think people don’t exactly hate Islam itself, but the people who terrorize and murder other people in the name of their religion. We are living in the modern world, and it’s sad to know that ignorance still prevails among people. We should just simply follow our beliefs/religions without hurting others who don’t share the same faith.

A lot of other religion members hate islam. because a lot of islamic people trying to vanish other religions. they think that there should be only one religion that is islam. but not all muslims think like that. to vanish other religion they are doing different things like rapidly spread their children, Donate to build new religious places etc.

They know nothing about it and that allows people to fill the gaps in their knowledge with whatever bias they have. It's also true that all people hear about are Islamic terrorists.

People hate Islam based on what the west media has make us believe. I dont hate them because of one or two peoples fault or terrorism nature.

I agree, we are forced to think a lot, because in every religion there are fanatics who cause anxieties and killers...I don't think that this relates to religion, because religion teaches us to love everyone around, and if a person sees in these teachings the message of murder, then this is a matter in man, not in teaching

There are many people who do not like Islam that are their views and thoughts. This is because Islam is the birthplace of many of the world's most endangered terrorist organizations. These organizations bomb, kill, robbery, and kidnap women and children. This affects the security of the world. These organizations are so dangerous and inhumane that so many people hate Islam.
