Why do people hate islam?

I am here to just say one thing? Why do YOU hate islam? and you should really give a valid reason not a shitty one that says 'Because media'
and Yes, I am a muslim for those who ask, just tell me, come out of your shell and say why you HATE it, and I could be here to clarify things to you.
Also here is something that most people mistake about islam is that "Islam hates other religions" for this I say, Islam does not hate ANY religion, but it suggests to 'invite' them to islam, as slowly, and peacefully, even if they refuse, you can try and try, until it's their choice, you stop. and for all the wars that happened, it's because the other religions decided to come into war on Islam.

I think it's lead people to a war.there is a main point at ul-quran to say like that.that's 'there must be a one religion in whole world'.so that really lead islamic people to a war.so I think isis is a good example for it.

It is easy to see hypocrisy in other people's religion, but in their own faith is blind hypocrisy.

I think it has to do with a country's developed/education degree.

Its a disgust mechanism within people, it makes them dislike foreigners.

Also, they are irrationally scared on islam due to the right-wing media.

I think there are some aspects to all religions which are frightening, but here’s one that bothers me, the holiest country to Muslims is Saudi Arabia, and the holiest cities are found there. But the behavior feels quite unholy to me and I think it’s something Islam can improve. I also don’t understand how there isn’t more public protest against the lack of freedom of religion there.

Just because they haven't yet harmed you or your family, that doesn't mean that they are all good. Every day, I am hearing about reports of Islamic terror activities. Thousands of innocent people are getting killed every year as a result of these atrocities. And still we have people who are ready to defend the Muslims and their beliefs.

People hate the religion for different reasons. the most populous one is because of terrorism acts linked to people of that faith.  some people hear Islam and all that come to mind is Saddam Hussein, Mohammed Ghadafi, Osama bin laden etc.   which makes it hard for them to see or know that there are millions of  Muslim faithfuls that just believe in the teachings of the Prophet (SAW) and the word of Allah, The Holy Quran.

And Somehow the mediA Hasnt helped in carrying what true Islam means to people, hence many people believing its areligion that teaches its followers to be brutal and dangerous. not knowing that ISLAM IS PEACE

The basis of our society is still many who do not understand about the correct understanding of Islam, this can be dangerous because it can easily be swept away by the liberal and plural syubhatnya. Among their talk is that all religions are true, and that Islam which means that surrender is more than religion, everybody who surrender to his god is Muslim.

Well, I don’t think people hate Islam. The perception of the people in Islam might be the problem lot of people have ignorance and narrow-minded about Islam some are thinking if they heard Islam they think terrorist or booming. I think responsibility of the Muslim countries to educate their people so that other will not be scared of them. We should respect everyone’s opinions and suggestion because it doesn’t matter what your religion are. It is the faith that you have.

I have to agree why would anyone hate Islam? Islam is a beautiful and peaceful religion. I respect their rules, principles and ideals. People hating on a religion and it's followers is not an example of forward thinking. The religion didn't hurt you, religion didn't bomb a building, religion never killed anyone. Who kills is the people who twists religion's words and principles to their agenda and forward it. Personally, i like Islam. I have Muslim friends.
