Power draw specs and unit dimensions please.
Since they are shipping soon, a photo would be nice (rather than a render).

So many questions, so little information....
All we know is stated 2 TH/s.
Power consumption at the wall?
Watts per GH?
Internal manufacturer supplied or external user supplied power supply?
Price?
Bulk discount threshold?
Fill us in please....

You idiots should stop funding Chinese mining farm.... seriously you think you can beat them?
For every S4 sold, it will fund 5x S4s for their farm.

That is highly unlikely, as production cost for S3s is around 0.4$/GH.... Each unit also includes shipping costs which aren´t cheap at all, so the profit for bitmain is very thin. On top of this, Chinese farms aren´t really as competitive as you might think. Chinese electricity prices, while heavily subsidized, are still quite high in comparison to WA state 0.03$/kWh power rates.

How is the noise level on these? Was the S2 relatively quiet like the S1/S3? Just want to know what I should expect from these S4s. If these are noisier, I will probably stick with the S3s.

Hopefully the production cost is cheaper for S4.

It might be a little lower as the chips are overclocked and no PSU is included, but not by much. It is accurate for S4 though (more chips, included PSU...). People often don´t realize that there is a real limit to the amount a vendor can discount its hardware, and that is production cost. With these low bitcoin prices, high difficulty rates etc. the profit margins on the hardware side aren´t what they used to be. Chip cost, cost of assembly, pcb and PSU cost are all factors that cannot really be influenced by the vendor (other than bulk discounts, these do not apply to chips though) A good chip design can decrease the cost per GH for chips, but once everyone is on 28nm, there is no big difference between vendors.

everything in china is so cheap, i bet their costs per S3 unit are not more than 150 $ (which I still belive is much lower in reality, like 100 $ per unit or so) they pay employees for a full day of work less than 5 $

Chip costs are the same all over the world, and bulk pcb orders are also quite the same price. I stand by my estimation concerning internal costs of 0.4$/GH for S4s, likely a little less for S3s. This can be calculated when taking into account standard wafer cost, packaging cost, pcb cost etc. (and includes only the production of the unit, no shipping) It also doesn´t include NRE and other engineering expenses (28nm chip ~$2-5M NRE). I admit that there might be room for error, but it is most likely less less than +/-20%.

It'll have to be a quick sale then, it's the 17th and they're planning on shipping the 20st. With no verifiable details whatsoever atm.
Very curious.

Low wages in China is considered about 140 euro when the high is about 240 euro Now 140 / 30 days I dont really know how many days they work but for calculation salary per day is 4,5 euro. So how many days a worker is needed to asseble a S3 I guess the boards are assabled by computers so its actually the cost of hardware also produced in china so i think its less than 150 eur that someone mentioned for mass production maybe the half of it.

What do you suggest as an alternative?

In the description it says on sale this week with a shipping date before the end of September which gives them a couple weeks. Still a very short window with no details though

Still a very short window with no details though They need a little time to swap all the S2's in their farm with S4's then they will start shipping customers equipment once they have rode out another difficulty increment at increased hash rate
