If you double-click on the transaction in the History panel, how many confirmations has it received? More than 0 and you should be on your way to being 50k "richer". Otherwise, it was a stale block and you will have to wait until you mine another block. The age of your coins was not reset, so it should not take long. Edit: Interest is high now while inflation is low, so large payouts are normal the first day or two. -Steve

I'm unable to import the private key from paper wallets that I did up last year. I went into the console and used the function importprivkey followed by the private key and got an error saying: Wallet is unlocked for staking only (code -13)Any help would be appreciated!

I'm still not sure if I understand how POST works...where do these coins come from? How many coins new coins will be generated in the next couple of days? doesnt that mean solarcoin will go down in value if everyone is getting huge rewards?

We need a few more 1.5 wallets to upgrade so we keep this train rolling. Otherwise, we will have periods of long delays between blocks for the next day or two.

Current interest rate is *very* high, but it will get closer to 4% in a couple days.

Also is it normal for the Spendable stat to go down? It did get back to the initial amount eventually though, but I was wondering when/why exactly that would happen.

I think I found a valid block, going to have to wait 500 more blocks untill i know for sure.
My wallet quit unexpectedly so I had to restart it. now it says: In sync, not staking, earning stake time. What exactly does that mean?
You will see "earning stake time" if your weight is low, or if your coins are newer than 8 hours old. You can see the age of your coins by turning on "Coin Control" in Settings->Options->Display, then going to the Send page and clicking the new "Inputs" button. Expand the tree view for an address, and you can see the date the coin was received. The date is reset whenever you mine a new block with those coins. -Steve "The date is reset whenever you mine a new block with those coins." - an important question here: is the date reset after 510 confirms? Non of the coins in this particular wallet has that date reset so far, even though large chunks of coins already mined 3 blocks, and got EXTREMELY large rewards in interest. Now, interests are in the process of being confirmed; one of them already has 22 confirms, one 7, one 6, but the dates have NOT been reset. So does it mean the same coins are being re-used for staking, just because the interest they generated has not reached 510 confirms? Thanks!

Hi, I have just noticed the staking amount is reseted to a larger amount after closing the wallet , like it is optimizing the staking amount. Why is it not doing it automaticaly ? and why should i have to close QT to optimize? Large amount of interest is just incredible, i would have never imagined is could be so high at the beginning , i was not aware we had to be there at the 1st minutes of the transition , i am lucky .. there was just between 16 and 19 connexions at the transition ...and this morning we were 6 !

I re-started the wallet last night a few times. It didn't seem to do anything at the time but then it started to show up. I've only caught a small handful of blocks between the two wallets in that time. Maybe 5? And there were 4 stale ones (showing in the history tab but no confirmations). Also, I think when the spendable goes down, that must mean that the amount going to staking returns "principal and interest" so to speak, where principal is the number of coins used for earning that particular interest payment? I had a good chunk of old coins, perhaps those are given a very hefty weight in the very early blocks. Once the 510 blocks catch up, the 8 hours will be met and they will have a normal weight. Your coins are relatively newer than mine, I expect when you do catch a block, it will be a nice reward. I'll be telling all my friends who bought theirs last year to update their wallets and start staking, for sure. Does your wallet say "Staking" with a little circle at the bottom?
