According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Hard to believe more are not mining with the guy who made cgminer !!
Still in terms of math and extended mining you should yield the same btc in a larger or smaller pool (obviously) but still I think so many people have used cg miner or it's various 'mutations' over the years...... if you never contributed to it or sent btc......... joining the pool might be a way of showing some support !! For me the first time I got cgminer to compile I felt like a godess for 2 days. I cannot imagine all the hard work and testing ect... that had to go into coding a project like that......
Just throwing this out there.

I'm getting 0.5% ... and payout confirmed a while ago Edit: note that 0.5% means about 5.5GHs lost of the 1100GHs+ 337878 Payout sent (a while ago) - still awaiting the 1st confirm of it. Confirmed and we found another block (confirmed) while waiting

Yes, they aren't functional yet. Oddly enough while I've been working on the shifts (almost finished) I realised the best but also quickest way to sort that out. So they wont be too far away.

Update, the last 5,000 shares, 6 hrs, I've got (at diff 1024) have only been 0.263% invalid. I just changed queue from 8192 to 1 to see if that helps also. Edit - I deleted your 1st copy below of the same post.

Workers 2 and 3 stock, didn't mess with the voltage yet. .27 and .29 invalids. Other pools I tested these on have gotten as high .75 this being the best so far being located in Sothern Nevada. Edit------ tested them for 8 hrs on the other pools yesterday.

Best share is working now in the miner status after restarting them. I don't remember if it was working before on this pool it wasn't for any of the other pools I tested. Not really high on my priory list. I am letting the pool dictate work diff for S5s for about an hour now. Interesting that the pool gives an exact diff not the normal 512 1024 etc. A lot of work went into this. Thanks.

Creating a website to graph and monitor my hashrate on CKPool with. Looking for a few people to help try it out. It uses your username and apikey from Kano's pool. Message me for a link, I'll post it here in the thread once I've tested a little more.

Hi Kano,
Thanks for the pool. I was wondering... simple question... if I want to have a rough idea of my next payout, can I roughly take my hashrate / pool hashrate * 25 ?
I know it won't be as precise as if I take the number of my accepted shares/total accepted shares (which I can't know in advance, so can't estimate next payout)... but I guess it will be near?
Thanks for the info.

It's actually more like: Been mining for X% of the last 500% before the block was found, so payout should be roughly X/500 * hashrate / poolrate * 24.8 Of course if the pool hash, or your hash rate, has changed in the 500%, that will affect the payout also. The 24.8 is a guestimate adjustment since it's 99.1% of the block + txn payout You can see the history values for all blocks at the current payout address link, which is: https://blockchain.info/address/1KzFJddTvK9TQWsmWFKYJ9fRx9QeSATyrT

I should have reread your first post before asking, you state PPLNS with N set at 5x... Taking part of the pool! Looks like it's a lucky one!! And thanks Lightsword for being part of it!! :-)
