All I ask is everyone hang in there no matter what...
Those of you who just started, hang in there till at least 10 days AFTER you've reached very close to your full hash rate under "Your N Avg" to the left of "Your BTC" under the "Rewards" tab. If you hang around to see the potential of what can be made for 10 days minimum AFTER reaching close to your full hash rate under "Your N Avg," you will find this pool worth supporting.
For those of you just starting, you should not let it concern you if it takes a while to find a block cause you are slowly building up to your full N Avg. If you were to leave [I hope you don't] you will find yourself continuing to receive payments when blocks are found until your N Average has depleted.
There may be times we go well over 100% shares on a block. Don't let that discourage you. It will be made up in due time.
Also, please spread the word about the pool. It's rare to find a pool that has its developers frequently answering questions and giving updates in the pool forum. There are many other things discussed in the forum as well that you will find to be educational.
If you invest the time to reach close to your full N Average, I believe you will find it to be a worth while investment of your time after remaining for at least a couple of weeks afterwards.
Thanks again for coming to the pool and giving it a try.
ROLL TIDE and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
David

Firstly, no pool gets all their block under 100% We do have a pretty amazing record in that area, 17 in a row under 100%, but no that's not expected to happen often. You can see it on the blocks page from block 7 to block 23. Average diff was ... wait for it ... 29.93% (i.e. reward was ~300% PPS for those 17 blocks) ... and the chance of doing that or better (on ANY pool) is: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=CDF%5BErlangDistribution%5B17%2C+17%5D%2C++0.2993%5Dor: 0.0000246421 = 0.00246421% of the time or about 1 in 40,581 In bitcoin terms that's about once in 13 years if you mined every block I guess I'll post the pool block expectancy numbers again 0.63212055882856 100.000% 1 in 2.7 0.77686983985157 150.000% 1 in 4.5 0.86466471676339 200.000% 1 in 7.4 0.95021293163214 300.000% 1 in 20.1 0.98168436111127 400.000% 1 in 54.6 0.99326205300091 500.000% 1 in 148.4 0.99752124782333 600.000% 1 in 403.4 0.99872735771441 666.666% 1 in 785.8 0.99908811803445 700.000% 1 in 1096.6 0.99966453737210 800.000% 1 in 2981.0 0.99987659019591 900.000% 1 in 8103.1
So that says you expect 1 in 2.7 blocks to be above 100% on every pool and 1 in 4.5 blocks to be above 150% on every pool and ... etc An interesting thing about that 100% number for those interested in the math It's 'e' (2.718281828...) since the equation ends up 1/(1 - (1 - (e^-1))) = e

Making more Per block and and speed was not max yet. I understand pool speeds and finding blocks are all different. To the Point doing way better here.

OneInchWonder, you are comparing uncomparable numbers especially in different Network Difficulty periods and your test result is nothing, sorry about this. It might be good idea to learn some math before doing this and difference between payout schemas at Slush and Kano.is pools. Also I tell nothing about current Slush probs But your conclusion is correct - Kano's pool is much better

I know they are different reward system. I just know not per block but Per day im doing better here.

Kano, Have you noticed how long the avg time for blocks to propagate the network has gotten.. why is it taking so long for the the china pools to release the blocks?? yes it took 19 seconds to get from f2pool/btcchina to the usa pool.. Not good if you ask me.. Hasnt been a problem with us yet. BUt if it continues to grow the huge PH/s farms will have a heck of an advantage over us smaller pools who cant rail back to back blocks. edit : heres my source http://poolbench.antminer.link/edit im happy btcchina put out 100 nodes. But if they put them in a crappy internet location . How will this help the network.. http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/bitcoin-giant-btcc-donates-100-full-nodes-help-maintain-network-15349263rd edit lol.. I also noticed on my personal pool wallet that out of the 40 connections i allow it to have.. the other day i noticed almost 20 of them said btcc 11.2 for the core version.. now i see im connected to a bunch of 11.2 nodes but they no longer say btcc 11.2 just satoshi 11.2... but i have a feeling its all those btcc nodes.. best Regards d57heinz

on another note.. Those of you with Bitmain equip ive found this tool.. Im not sure how long this has been available in there support section. but if you like to tweak your machine settings this would be the way to go.. https://www.bitmaintech.com/support.htm?pid=007201512210613294744rqn82k7068Areally nice tool. It may not have all the frequencies you prefer for your miner but for a quick way to downclock or over clock this is best ive seen.. Ive yet to test it whether or not you can actually adjust the voltage.. i know on s4 they fixed the volts to .725 with a firmware update. Check it out will make your life much easier if you have a decent amount of ants. Best Regards d57heinz
