hi everyone..I'm newbie in mining, but waiting for my s5 reaching this Saturday.. After a week of research I've decide to buy a s5 and join in ckpool.. But I've a couple of question.. Is it too little hash rate for joining ckpool with 1150g/s?.. So, I just have to keyin the stratum that listed below to get my s5 work? .. Im person with no fate with lucks, would it better for me joining other pool? Because I tried google how to point s5 to ckpool seems not getting any.. stratum+tcp://stratum81.kano.is:81 stratum+tcp://stratum443.kano.is:443 stratum+tcp://stratum8080.kano.is:8080 Appreciate if any answer helps.. Sorry for my broken English.. A S5 is plenty fine. -Connect to the S5 -Click miner configuration -Add pool url ="stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333" -Worker = "YourUsername.WorkerName" -Password = "x" The complete instruction are all on Kano's main page; https://www.kano.is/@Virosa, thanks for the help. But there's few more question overcome.. The miner will automatically point to nearest server? I'm from Malaysia, Singapore should be nearest. Average how much earning I could get with a s5 turned on 24/7/365? Kinda confused with pplns system.. But what I found its the best with payout if the pool got lucks. I'm running several avalon6. Unlike the Antminer M's Miner Monitor does not seem to work with the Avalon. You guys have suggestion on software to monitor the Avalon. M's miner is clean and fast I was hoping it would accept the Avalon but no luck.... Thanks

maybe try cryptoglance
i use it at my house to keep eye on my
4 antminer s1's 1 antminer s2 1 x11 gpu pimp rig 1 raspberry pi running 4 gekko sticks and 2 gridseed scrypt miners and 1 x11 gpu rig on this windows 7pc
and you can set it up with the ports and api's as well
and you can set it up where you can monitor it threw the net with a server i ran on no-ip and port forwarded it to my pc port for cryptoglance
i really like the software it will give you details on the miners and also combined speeds on them

I've had pretty limited internet access for the last 16 hours (and still do) ... the worst ISP in my country has control over most of the internet hardware and they've been messing with the internet connections with everyone in my area all day ...
I did finally get the payouts out and all the previous 4 confirmed within 20 minutes after I sent them. 399853 has been sent also, but not yet confirmed 35a245b34636f0bbe6bd71b200f18a2eef0edfb90a3ce844c65f4f9e1dfed616
(Edit: in case anyone was concerned, all my pool problem alerts still get to my phone/ipad so I know if anything goes awry)

@Virosa, thanks for the help. But there's few more question overcome.. The miner will automatically point to nearest server? I'm from Malaysia, Singapore should be nearest. Average how much earning I could get with a s5 turned on 24/7/365? Kinda confused with pplns system.. But what I found its the best with payout if the pool got lucks.
this is what I get with 1.25Th (S5 is 1.1Ths) 399918 25/Feb 04:25 25.14294614 825.212G 39hr 15m 17s 25.08PHs 0.00% 40.797M 1.24THs 0.00124301399867 24/Feb 18:35 25.23428297 825.697G 41hr 20m 50s 23.82PHs 0.01% 43.264M 1.25THs 0.00132219399853 24/Feb 14:25 25.00389322 831.334G 42hr 6m 1s 23.56PHs 0.01% 44.337M 1.26THs 0.00133350399832 24/Feb 12:06 25.28197870 830.503G 42hr 9m 38s 23.50PHs 0.01% 44.536M 1.26THs 0.00135575399827 24/Feb 11:04 25.11353007 824.650G 41hr 53m 5s 23.49PHs 0.01% 44.310M 1.26THs 0.00134940399826 24/Feb 10:59 25.24473876 822.967G 41hr 47m 51s 23.49PHs 0.01% 44.217M 1.26THs 0.00135637So you'll get +/- 10% less / block ? Your hashrate is roughly 10% lower than mine, so your Navg will be roughly 10%lower, so payout is roughly 10% lower. At constant pool hashrate.

This got deleted coz certain people dislike the truth. So I'll post it here ... Being Catholic, an acronym like "St. Barbara's Faithfully Glorified Mining Initiative Naturally Exceeding Rivals" just calls for me to support it. ... He stole the name from me then reversioned it to hide that fact. BFG as in BFG from the doom game. ... don't catholics have commandments about lying and stealing?

pool dead stratum+tcp://stratum.kano.is:3333?
Lost connection with the remote nodes for a minute, then lost about half the miners for a minute. All back up OK again. But oddly, my linode monitor started complaining about connections a few minutes before that happened even though I could see all was OK and the hash rate was OK - so I just assumed it was the usual linode problems that happen about once a day lately. Maybe linode now predicts future internet link problems just before they happen The main server isn't linode and I didn't lose any contact with it at all - just with the SG/DE nodes for a minute also. So, yeah the fact that it lost about half the hash rate as very strange - most likely a routing problem somewhere.

Well RBF is bad IMO and I'd probably never implement it except under duress, since it's pretty much the same as double spending. I'm no expert on how to get a transaction out of your wallet without going to a backup, so you could send a new transaction, but I guess that's what you'd have to do.
