You were recently mentioned on Tone Vayas' YouTube show as a Japanese ... or Australian (clarified) odd little pool. A dumb question - after split, will the current BTC become 2?
What split? ... The only such named coin I can find is an alt-coin about a year old worth about $66 A split means a sizeable % of Bitcoin mining on 2 chains, not one person or some tiny pool staying back or forgetting to update to BIP91. So unless there's some other real % of Bitcoin mining something else (which there isn't) that's off topic - so I deleted it

Is there any timeframe on when the dust payout function may be available to be able to get the payout
cheers
Hi, I'm not Kano, obviously, but I can give you a a bit of info. Kano has mentioned in a few different places in this thread that setting the pool up to accumulate and payout dust payments is on his to-do list. I don't recall any specifics, but he mentioned setting it up for few different levels of automatic dust payout levels. Of course I have no dates for that implementation as he had no dates in his posts, as I recall. He tends to handle the most important issues of the pool first - as he should - such as keeping it running and finely tuned to give us the best chance of scoring blocks. I know that's probably not the best information as far as you are concerned. Perhaps he will chime in later and be able to give you a more concrete answer. It must be hard for the very small miners here that can only generate dust and hope for an accumulation to be paid out. I hope it works out for you soon. After all, you are still contributing to our over-all pool hash rate! Cheers! And please, continue to mine here if you can and accumulate that dust. It will get to you soon I hope! Best wishes!!

Apologies for my ignorance, I assumed, and I know I should never assume, that your pool would allow me to build up payments and get them paid out when needed, as I do with other pools in which I mine, I pay my costs and buy miners straight from the pool.
Is there any timeframe on when the dust payout function may be available to be able to get the payout
cheers
more then likely a year or more since he has said that one day he will pay dust for more then 2 years. How much coin did you fuck up with by not asking sooner? 0.001 or more?

The web site says, from the first time you login, in red bold letters at the top, "Please set a payout address on your account!" ... until you set it.

Those dust payments add up. I just did a total on mine, $2.10. May not seem like a lot, but add up all the dust payments from all the users. I'm happy to donate mine to Kano for all the work he has done!! I would be in much better shape if I would just leave my miners alone and not chase something to make a few extra bucks!!!

Oh for everyone in total it adds up to quite a bit. Bit there's a few things: Everyone's account shows what they are, and they aren't going to disappear. They will eventually be paid out. I certainly don't want the BTC, it's not mine, and it will be given to the owners eventually once the accounting code is written. Until then, no I'm not going to do manual reconciliation of anyone's account, that's too unreliable, and it's what the new code will do, so ... when the code is done, then I'll be able to pay it all without getting anything wrong ... assuming I get the code right

Drat,
One of my hashing boards on my older of two S9's is not working. I am getting about 9T-Hash/sec on that S9. Has anyone worked with Bitmain to get a replacement hashing board? It is out of warranty so I will have to either run at 2/3rds or try the not very happy arena of ebay if Bitmain can not get me a replacement.
I have put in a repair request asking that question of bitmain but would appreciate any knowledge of past experience others have had with them.

Assuming the miners are in the US, I would use Bitmain Warranty in Colorado. They can either sell you new boards, or try to repair your old boards. I recently had three boards repaired there (was like getting a new S9 back . It wasn't the fastest service, but it was cheaper and closer than trying to deal with Bitmain directly. https://bitmainwarranty.com/

I have had an S9 board repaired in Colorado and I thought it was pretty cheap and good turn around time. Your mileage may vary! ; I will probably be sending them another S9 board soon. Right now I'm running 3 and 2/3rds S9's.

Now everything is in cloud. At one time people like to keep cash at home, maybe still, but I am getting used to do everything online Can you please offer some alternatives for keeping BTC? Thanks. the best way is to down load a core 0.14.2 wallet
but lets start a little slower.
do you have more then .5 coins?
if you do you should have a core wallet.
note .5 coins is a number I pick as i could lose .4 coins and not try to kill someone or myself.
I now have 2 core wallets both have a backup clone of the hdd
one is on mac and one is on windows. So my questions are:
Can I still use Coinbase address for Kano since bitcoin transaction will be temporarily suspended? Coinbase will temporarily suspend all bitcoin transactions. When will it resume?
Thanks for your answers!
Seems to me you should be asking Coinbase these questions. Or asking themselves why they would use an online wallet? How long is 14.1 good for? Or should I upgrade any way?

The changes in 14.2 vs 14.1 are here: https://bitcoin.org/en/release/v0.14.2Nothing classified as 'major' - just small bug fixes, fee calculation display fixes and upnp changes. The bold part might be useful if you use bitcoin-qt for making payments and you've noticed it doesn't show you the fee it actually uses until the popup confirm.

Hello Kano, I have been mining on your pool for a while now. However, I did not setup my payment address in till this weekend. Will my previous work be sent to my bitcoin address? I hope to hear from you. Thank you, Tom
