It seems that Kraken is a place to trade BCH. If you have BTC there, you can sell it for $400 now. But Coinbase will hold BCH till next January. If BCH trades high, surely will Coinbase want to make more money by supporting BCH. Can someone recommend on-line BCH wallet?

It seems that luck is bad for most of pools. is it caused by the fork? Also the block is getting smaller.

Luck who knows always been a mysterious thing. But smaller blocks are going to be the new norm I think. So 12.5 + 2 in fees or 14.5 will stop Maybe more like 12.5 + .5 = 13 will be the norm

We needed it! and it now looks like blocks in the 12.8 area may be the new norm. It was nice getting the big blocks of 13.5 or 14

Noticed (rather a long time after it appeared on one of my screens) an interesting block by someone else about 5 hours ago: 2017-08-05 02:19:25.235990 ERROR: AcceptBlockHeader: Consensus::ContextualCheckBlockHeader: 000000000000000000639be19a0123a1c99d9fef89f0b8ac055a77f4ef86ae3b, bad-diffbits, incorrect proof of work (code 16)
Edit: well after reading the log, it appears it was a BCH block, lulz connecting to a BTC node ... and yes of course it got banned straight away. So anyone wandering what debug.log can show for these sort of issues: 2017-08-05 02:19:24.784166 receive version message: /BUCash:1.1.0(EB16; AD4)/: version 80002, blocks=478630, us=Y:8333, peer=113989, peeraddr=X:49586 2017-08-05 02:19:25.235990 ERROR: AcceptBlockHeader: Consensus::ContextualCheckBlockHeader: 000000000000000000639be19a0123a1c99d9fef89f0b8ac055a77f4ef86ae3b, bad-diffbits, incorrect proof of work (code 16) 2017-08-05 02:19:25.236079 Misbehaving: X:49586 peer=113989 (0 -> 100) BAN THRESHOLD EXCEEDED 2017-08-05 02:19:25.236110 ERROR: invalid header received 2017-08-05 02:19:25.236134 ProcessMessages(headers, 44958 bytes) FAILED peer=113989

Hello, I was wondering if I will get paid for the mining I did with Kano? I tried it out for a day or two.
I have a dust balance of 40k satoshi, but each block only 7k or so.
I thought about mining with Kano but Antpool pays much better, and faster. Dealing with Bitmain is kinda unpleasant, I'd rather go with someone else but I have to maximize profits. Antpool = 120k satoshi a day, Kano = maybe 30k? Hard to tell with the PPLNS system in place.

Are you sure Antpool pays better...............

Are you sure Antpool pays better...............
PPLNS makes it hard to say, Kano has no calculators and doesn't tell you what your eventual payout will be after all pay phases are complete. But from pointing my ol' Spondoolies SP30 with a busted chip at it for two days, at 3.6-3.7 Th/s, several days later my dust shows as 40k. Same two days on Antpool? 240k, and they paid me already. Antpool has a thing going now where PPS gets random bonus on top so it's paying out at 116% for me. Sigh - so basically you are looking at a PPS pool that pays you a fixed low rate vs a PPLNS pool that pays you a luck based, but expected higher rate. Firstly, I can find 2 days where you would have been paid 5 times as much as antpoo and I can find you 2 days where you'd be paid less. Neither means anything. That's like rolling a dice once, getting a 6 and then saying you will always get a 6 coz that's what happened the first time - yes literally. Now if I was to look at history - which is just as deceptive as looking at 2 days, for the past 6 months the pool has averaged 127% PPS Yep WAY more than antpoo PPS pools give you a fixed low income so thus they can of course tell you exactly what you will get, no more and no less. A PPLNS pool gives you a random daily income based on pool luck, so they can't tell you exactly what you will get. I can tell you what to 'expect' over time ... Pool Luck * 99.1% PPS * Tx% You can see on the Blocks page what that has been for every month for the past 6 months. Every month there has been better than antpoo I can guarantee you one thing 100% without doubt: antpoo takes more fees every 1THs mining there than I do here. I take it your post is simply trying to advertise another pool who charges a lot more fees? No pool is paying all their miners 116% PPS
