is it worth it to put some old S3+ here?
If you only have one, unfortunately no. Your rewards won't be above dust level at the current pool hashrate.  If you got 3 or more you'd be safe, but I suspect your electrical bill won't be pleasant!  Smiley

I don't believe in superstition because it's bad luck: 13thF1oor6CAwyzyxXPNnRvu3nhhYeqZdc
These aren't the Droids you're looking for: S5 & S7 (Sold), R4B2, R4B4 (RIP), 2x S9 obsolete, 2xS15-28, S17-56, S17-70
Pushing a whopping 1/5 PH!  Oh The SPEED!!!

Fcuk they just got the latest payout to a new address and key !!!
how can stop payments until I load a complete new version of core?

I'm going to wipe the drive reformat
That won't necessarily solve the problem. Someone has gotten access to your network, and your physical machine. Your problem could be "internal." I won't go there.

Someone else said it...use a different, dedicated machine running Ubuntu (not Win) and have it do nothing but Core.

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

Man, I feel your pain and I hope you get squared away on this.  Ever heard of hardware wallets (KeepKey, Trezor, Ledger, etc)?  When you are not using them you can unplug and store them in a safe...and they use all kinds of security like 12 word recovery and randomly rotating numeric pads for entering your pin, etc.
Ouch! Hope you get it all sorted. Indeed I'd get a separate machine (non-Windows) for your hot wallet and a Ledger S, should help prevent it happening again.

Invest in a trezor, Been using it ever since I had bitcoins stolen from me last year and haven't had a problem since,

Until then I would suggest using Jaxx on your phone to receive payouts till its solved

Would someone tell me about dust payments?

If you mine with this pool with a low hash rate, for example 450gh,

can you still accumulate a balance to paid out when the .0001 is reached?

I've been looking into the hardware wallets recently.. What are peoples thoughts regarding Ledger Nano S vs Trezor?

Are there honestly big differences that truly set one of them above the other?
Or, is it just a preference thing, and/ or a $ cost thing?

Would love to hear from users of both wallets. As i am stuck between the two

They were most likely altcoins.
When you mine through *hash they point your miner at whatever coin the buyer wants.

You can verify that by looking at the 'best share' on the miner - if it's less than 1,196,792,694,098 then the blocks were altcoin blocks.

Nope, it's back.   Wondering if it's a power issue where internationalrescue has their stuff hosted at (or if they're rentinging more hashing power)

Now we just need some blocks, it's been over a day now.

Quick question - when there are no blocks does that result in hash rate dropping to 0?
because my hash rate is 0, and i have no idea why? both on kano.is and in my antminer ip address log in

If your hashrate is zero, that means you aren't mining where you think are mining. Sad

Double check your settings.  There have been reports from others of something changing their settings w/o their knowledge through the API.

I've had it happen on my one s7...changed it twice (one to nicehash and the other was something foreign).

Make sure your miners are pointed at kano!
