Thank you CobraMining! Your block cracking ability has pulled us up from the abyss!
Much respect to you for not abandoning this wonderful pool.

Thank you, Master Kano (pronounced "Kah-no"), for all your hard work and for keeping us informed. While I do not pretend to understand the code you write, I enjoy seeing those snippets. Clean and elegant.
Much respect to you for everything you do and for your unbending integrity.

Thank you all my fellow miners who have hung in there. Mine on!

+1, Yes, thanks Kano and every who stayed.  I've been hanging in here since 2015 and this pool always seems to come through and pay big over time Cheesy

Hey, does anyone know where I can get an AUC3? Apparently, you have to purchase this separately along with the miner, power supply, and controller and I didn't order one with my order back on Oct 16'th and I do not see them listed on the MinerWarz website and Caanan is Out of Stock.

I'm pretty sure all previous orders will come with it. My previous 2 orders did, they were packaged in with the miner. It looks like moving forward they are going to start charging for them on the pallet orders from canaan. It still says they come in the package on minerwarez, product description.

Minerwarz has them for sale individually on their site. $50 on the Used Miner page. No picture.

OK, I guess I will see if it arrives with the miner!

I just added a couple of machines to the pool. How long does it take to get the N-Average up to 'full speed'?
Thanks!

It is listed on the Help>Payouts page (menu bar, far right side of the page)  https://kano.is/index.php?k=payout
Currently it is 7days 18hours. That will change as pool hashrate and the network difficulty changes.

Thank you! Wow, 7 days  18 hours is pretty long... I suppose this is to discourage hopping in and out...

Exactly. It is designed to prevent pool hoppers from trying to capitalize on short term runs of luck at the expense of the rest of the long term miners.

In reality though, the ramp down period is the same 5nd. So if you leave or lose your connection to the pool due to power or network issues, the rewards continue over that period, at an ever decreasing rate, even though you are not mining.

Heh, no - it's a misunderstanding among a lot of miners about how PPLNS works Smiley
The time of the 'ramp' is the amount of time it takes to reward shares, it doesn't reduce the reward.
The effect is to reduce variance.

But yes, as mentioned above, the pool hash rate and the network difficulty determine how long in time it is.
Since the hash rate has dropped a lot since the end of Oct, and difficulty has got up with yet another big jump, the length of the 'ramp' has increased a lot.

Fortunately we are never 'due' any type of block Smiley

However, we do 'expect' every block to be over 100%
Why? Well because at any point in time when you check the current state of the pool, it will always be over 0%
... yeah it's next to impossible to get it to show you a 0 on the web site Smiley
Random luck expects 100% average ... from 'now' ... so that's 'now' + 100%
