Hey, kano-san, could you please officially announce the no-fee promotion in a different post with no other info, so that I could announce it to some Russian-speaking communities and give a link to it? Some big guys don't speak English but probably will get interested in a no-fee offer.
As promised, I started a topic about no-fee promotion at the largest Russian language crypto forum and sent out a dozen of messages to Russian speaking Telegram mining chats.

бyдим вмecтe вoдкy пить!!!
Well, I'm not-so-Russian when it comes to vodka. Tried it several times when I was younger but never liked it.
And i'm writing this in English to stop this off-topic dialogue in a language most ppl don't understand.

Heh, well the aim is to get the variance back down, and that's one way to do it!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Just say my weekly "Hello" to all my fellow miners  Grin
Sorry to see our two biggest miners leave, but they are professional miners and probably can not withstand the variance due to cash flow. For those of us who are "hobby miners", while it is much more fun when we are a larger pool with lower variance and are getting more blocks per week, the truth is that it all ends up being the same profitability over time. No one likes long streaks of bad luck, but it evens out when we get streaks of good luck. As long as you don't need regular payments to sustain your cost of running your miners, there is no better pool than this one. When I first started mining a couple years ago, as a newbie I also started on another more "flashy" pool, but it only took me two months to find KanoPool and realize how much better it is due to how well Master Kano runs this pool and is engaged with us miners. No matter how long one of our future bad luck streaks get, I will NEVER leave this pool for two reasons:

1. Kano has the most efficient code of all the pools, has unquestionable integrity, and keeps us all informed on a regular, and ongoing basis.

2. My fellow miners are the most entertaining, funny, helpful, and crazy bunch of folks ever. Been LMAO regarding all the crazy "sacrifices" to the gods of luck.

Thank you Kano, for the FEE FREE mining till end of 2017!

Mine on, you crazy bastards!  Grin

Just added an old S7LN I had retired due to summer heat. The summer heat is gone and bitcoin is above 7k. Time to heat up my wife's computer room with hashing power rather resistance electrical power. 2.7 more THashes/sec to the cause!

1 S9, 2  A741s, 1 A821, 3 A841s, and full bitcoin node
About 80THash/sec

I know where my hash rate isn't, and that is delivered to me from Bitmain. Getting impatient. Ahhhhh Pool is down to 22PH. No worries from me though, I am going to spark my 4 S9's up as soon as I get them and point them right here to KANO.

The pool hash rate for the last day is roughly 25.30PHs which means the 5Nd 'ramp' is roughly 13days 10hrs.

5n average means how many hours it take to hit 5 blocks on average

right now it is about 13 days with the firepower on the pool

so from day 1 to 13  you build up   to full power.

you then get full payments.

so if you just put gear here  you would be rooting for no blocks  for a while  then a lot of blocks later on
