Thanks mate - i checked the page, but it did not show whats the current BTC earned, for e.g: 0.0001 ? You only get rewards (check https://kano.is/index.php?k=mpayouts ) when we find a block

I too am switching from stratum.kano.is to nya.kano.is 12-15 ms faster ping times. on NYA. Might get a block because of this!
Where are the two physically located? Just wondering why its so much faster.
Stratum is West coast US, NYA is NewYork (East US) - the nya name is the sound a cat makes in Japanese vs meow

I am actually closer to that than new York. I am in Southern Alberta. Guess the fiber is faster to the east. Seattle and Vancouver servers ( Other voip servers) i get 30 ms ping times. Not sure why from there to California its that much slower. Could be a data center specific issue. 7 31 ms 31 ms 32 ms be4476.ccr21.sea02.atlas.cogentco.com [38.88.252.161] 8 38 ms 33 ms 32 ms be2083.ccr21.sea01.atlas.cogentco.com [154.54.0.249] 9 51 ms 52 ms 59 ms be2075.ccr21.sfo01.atlas.cogentco.com [154.54.0.233] 10 51 ms 50 ms 52 ms be3178.ccr21.sjc01.atlas.cogentco.com [154.54.43.70] 11 57 ms 53 ms 51 ms be2063.rcr21.b001848-1.sjc01.atlas.cogentco.com [154.54.1.162] Yup after seattle its slow, 30ms then to 52 to San francisco and San jose. Glad I fixed it.

What and when was the longest drought so far?
You can look here, by percentage of difficulty, there was a 928% in late Oct. By days, we had 9 days between blocks 10 days ago. https://www.kano.is/index.php?k=blocks

What and when was the longest drought so far?
% Diff is all that matters. If the pool is twice the size, then it will take half the time to get to 100%, but still have the same expected rewards (twice as many blocks, half expected reward per block) A CDF table 0.39346934028737 50.000% 1 in 1.6 0.63212055882856 100.000% 1 in 2.7 0.77686983985157 150.000% 1 in 4.5 0.86466471676339 200.000% 1 in 7.4 0.95021293163214 300.000% 1 in 20.1 0.98168436111127 400.000% 1 in 54.6 0.99326205300091 500.000% 1 in 148.4 0.99752124782333 600.000% 1 in 403.4 0.99872735771441 666.666% 1 in 785.8 0.99908811803445 700.000% 1 in 1096.6 0.99966453737210 800.000% 1 in 2981.0 0.99987659019591 900.000% 1 in 8103.1
So e.g. 1 in 20.1 blocks is expected, on average, to be over 300% Long term, average % is what matters - and it should be close to 100%

The website is hosted separately from the mining servers. All is well. M

Out of the 4 S9's I purchased, 3 were due end of January and 4th end of February. I already got the first 2 weeks ago, 2nd delivering today and just got an email that the 3rd is shipped. I'm excited to be getting them early but I'm also wondering if this is common or is something going on. Maybe to compete better? Maybe the next generation is close? Either way I'm not sure how wise it is to keep buying them when available since something bigger and better could be just around the corner. I am interested in the new canaan 821/841 if the price is right but it's just essentially a slightly slower version of the S9.

With 3 by the first week of January I'm going to have to get them into a data center. Question would be how much I would suffer having to shut them down for 2-4 hours? I know I'll start to ramp down and then back up again but how big of a blow do you think this will be?

If so, 2-4 hours is a drop in the bucket. M

I have a single static (and will up that to another one here in a few months)...the S7 that transfers from place to place can stick with stratum.
