Thanks for all the input, guys. It was running at 39C when I got home this evening, so I just disconnected the 4" dryer vent; pointed a house fan toward its intake; and left the door open to that room...

I might have to just turn it off before I leave for work tomorrow since the heat knocked it down to almost 2THs during the hottest part of today... Back up to ~3.5 once I got the cooling under control. This'll be an interesting first Summer of mining.

The BTCest mining pool (<1% fee): KanoPool

I know very small sample size but it looks like Kano hasn't really been lucky on getting the first block of the month.

I went offline to avoid lightning but I'm connected again and nya is working fine on my end. Obviously, not sure what occurred while I was down.

Added more S9s to the pool. At least Bitmain ships hardware mostly on time (yes, that's a knock on Halong - still waiting for my April miner to ship.)

Must add more hash to the pool!

Do you have a garage available?? If it has a window and a vent in the attic that would be as good a place as any. When I started I just ran an ethernet cable out to mine. I only move them inside in the winter when I need the heat.
No garage; just a laundry room at our new house since my wife objected to it running in the kitchen anymore. LOL

Thanks for the ideas.

Sadly, I ended up turning it off before leaving for work since they're calling for low-90 temps, and I couldn't risk it burning out this year. Cry

FYI you are fine until 110 by new measures. After that it shuts down by itself. For days I have around 30C and running my s9 normaly at 90C. Can't wait till Monday lol.
