Guys tell me tell me that I made the correct choice,I just bought 68 refurbished avalonminer 741 with 1 year warranty for 14000 euros, thats 510 th, so I paid 25 euros per TH,if I had gone with the S9i new with 3 months warranty,I would have bought with 14000 14 miners with a total of 196 TH which is 72 euro per TH.So I already have 110TH in the pool and I will reach 620 by the end of june,I hope i made the right choice.

Depends on the cost of your electricity.

Mined for a living since 2017.  Dabbled for years before that.

If electricity is cheep then yes you are doing well. In my farm I’m starting to replace my 741 with 841.

Long term, the electricity cost will decide how long you can keep the the miners running profitably.
But when the hash rate you start with is so much higher for the same price, I'd say you are looking good Smiley

If Diff averages 8% for the next 100 days, you should mine around 2BTC in 100 days
If Diff averages 4% for the next 100 days, you should mine around 2.27BTC in 100 days

Thanks for the info,I pay 50 euros per month for electricity regardless consumption and with 68 741 ,10 T9+, 1 M3X and 1 L3+ i reach the maximum of power consumption,I will probably start upgrading the miners atleast 1 year from now.

If I did that, I'd be making $12/day... Cry

Firesale continues @ bitmain.  Just received an email that they lowered the price to 750 with the PSU.  I'm not sure if you can use coupons at this price.

What do you think they have up their sleeve? Some new triple speed BTC miner?

You can. I just ordered two of them and used my last two $420 coupons on the purchase.

As noted above, electricity cost is one of the biggest concerns.
If you have a flat rate regardless of consumption, I think you made the right choice!

The AWSLS UK node has dropped off the network.
Although I've posted to them about it, I'm awaiting (anyone) at Amazon to actually realise their London server networks are dead ... been 45 minutes so far Sad

Does it affect the dutch/german node as well?
No real insight yet as i'm at work, but i can see most miners went offline, and right now they're starting again.

The old NL node points to the UK node.

UK node is back online.
It was off from 08:54 UTC until 10:15 UTC
(the server was actually dead/offline from 08:54 UTC until 10:09 UTC)
I've sent some unfriendly messages to AWS ...

There was no problem with the DE node.

Kano, first off, great job on the uptime and general pool awesomeness!

One question/request for your backlog, though, would be:

Can you make the Shift Graph retain the individual worker names we input there even if they don't have activity right now?

Thanks for at least reading. Wink

They're saved in your browser cookies.
They just disappear off the graph temporarily - if the worker reappears later, the line will reappear also.
That's due to how the code works generating the data.
If anything doesn't get a match, it's not part of the display, and it's by design since it automatically removes multiples and invalid workernames from the data being sent to the web page.
The data sent is what is found in the database.

They're only removed from the cookies if you hit "Update" and they're not listed.
The "Update" button simply updates your cookies (then re-gets the page)

Thanks! I'll just stop playing around with the worker names and wait until my failover node reappears.

Note: I say 'node' (singular) since my miner always skips to the bottom of failover pools.
