Very nice. Fucking moron.

* I ask you for your linkedIn profile in order for everyone to see if you are capable of leading something important like XMR and you run like chicken lying through your teeth and are immediately called for it.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Not sure what you mean by this, but pretty sure GMaxwell is a supporter of the CryptoNote architecture and of the Monero project but is rightly wary of the inherited codebase. In fact his enthusiasm for Bytecoin (before the ninja-mine scam surfaced) was the main reason I took an interest in CN-based currencies. Has he become a critic of Monero devs?

Also: How poor is this move? Instead of responding to othe's accusation (well, it's a fact tbh), you are destracting from it with an ad hominem attack

It's spelled distracting or you probably meant detracting. So he gets a free ride for being a core retard, insinuating I am a sockpuppet and when I question him back it becomes ad hominem? You should have finished it up with "we are always FUDed" or "what did we do wrong?" completing your victimization and self pity to make it grandiose  Roll Eyes

I have now spent more than a week in Malla, and after getting used to the normal life, this trollfest just feels... sad. I understand many of the people behind accounts created to attack Monero, and also to "support" it in stupid ways, really need the money. But still, sad, is the word.

We are now starting the work. With the MEW. The focus of Monero has never been in the short term. We are doing important long term projects and decisions. So if dear reader wants to get involved, please check the moderated threads, it is obviously quite stupid for us to even write on the trollfest threads.

Where is that an answer to my post? Why did you quote my post? It's sad that you guys always have to behave this way, a major turn off.

the pump and dumps festival of the last months may have messed with your head

Why do you attack me? I got out at the right time which is the absolute best thing that one could possibly do (improves holdings of the coin greatly when getting back in lower).

I have an idea for you and MEW. You should recreate your original Supernode idea(the one that got sidetracked due to localbitcoins opening) but for Monero. But in this case Supernodes in the network can be committed to abiding by a set of best practices provided by MEW to do their best to ensure their customers stay anonymous as possible. This way you can establish an international network of people providing access to XMR for people who otherwise might not want to buy BTC first or go through other traditional channels.

edit: You're probably already planning something like this anyway I assume.

@OP even though I don't like you I have to agree with you for once.

Monero should be banned here so they finally get it.

Yes, I seriously think this way. Neglecting to open an own forum and posting there (like all other major coins do!) is extremely bad for the health of the coin. People hate the coin and I don't want to see that. Unfortunately a lot of Monero supporters aren't helping it by constantly attacking other users. It's a mess.

It was a general observation. Yeah, gmaxwell does quite like CN-like Ring signatures and has sometimes helped out the Monero project

I think he'd probably object to "a supporter" as that suggests some sort of explicit endorsement which I don't think is the case. He has commented on the cryptonote protcol being "here now" anonymity that is pretty effective, while criticized some other aspects of it. He has not become "a critic of" the Monero devs that I know of, but of course we are not above criticism from him or anyone else, as it should be.

One of the things that the MEW will address is this utter bullshit. There is (list is not conclusive but you get the idea):
- no neglecting to open an own forum since there are Monero forums, IRC groups etc, plenty of them
- no general hatred towards Monero, only a short list of pestilent sockpuppets, probably costing their masters not much, a few "honest" trolls, and similarly few people who are confused because of misunderstandings and sockpuppets' & trolls' actions
- no monero users are attacking other users. People posing as monero users do.

I invite all the trolls to join MEW and then vote on the matters, since if you do not do it, it will become evident to all that you do not own any monero and are just trying to confuse things!

Problem: This only really works with coins, that have are in the top 10 in terms of market capitalization. Otherwise the forums normally die pretty fast and the coins also get less courtesy in the general crypto community. Not falling out of scope is really important to attract attention and therefore adoption, whch is the ultimate goal of a currency

Monero is not a "major" coin.

The top 10 or even more top 5 coins do well with their own forum. We're not even close to that now.

The traffic will organically migrate to more specific forums when XMR is big enough that most (or even a meaningful portion) of its participants are not primarily BTC participants, just as it does with major coins. I doubt there are even a handful of such people now, if that.  There is no need to force anything.

At this point XMR 13th in market capitalization and 9th in trading volume. It is not there yet but it is getting close.

what in gods name do you seriously expect when you come here and say your first Altcoin is Monero ?
YOU ARE UNBELIEVABLE LOL

You created a topic that said in the first line that your first Altcoin is Monero with a greeting to the community
and THEN you posted a 40 line wall of text about your brutal and extreme forum topic rules for your Monero hype topic..
and THEN you have the fucking nerve to sit here and bump it everday 12 times a day posting walls of text and deleting ANYTHING said you don't like
with your fucking Nazi forum rules you made up
AND THEN !!!
You created and bumped a pile of other Monero topics here to page one several times a day
and i guarantee 100% YOU ARE THE ONE WITH THE SOCK PUPPET ACCOUNTS
i have 1 fucking account buddy.

THAT ALONE is one hell of a damn good reason to see a backlash from all those evil trolls picking on you and your "first coin"
Quit playing dumb buddy.. you have been abusing this place with Monero bullshit for ages and i tried like hell for ages to ignore it but it's gone way too far for way too long
and YOU are a massive cause of this spamming and backlash from people about it.
And i feel sorry for guys that invested because they are being fucked over by mental cases like you who don't realize your behavior is TOXIC !

i don't need any walls of text or Nazi rules or troll accusations from some cocky noob pal ..STFU about Monero !
And maybe spend a year or two around this scene before coming here with your set of Nazi rules you jam down our throats on shit loads of Self Moderated spam topics.
And you guys can cut the shit.. you have been abusing this place with a choreographed game of advertising and spamming
and anyone that has gotten sick of it has been harassed and trolled like Nekromata sending me 6 pm's insulting me since last night *unprovoked.
You and the other Monero idiots got some nerve !
The topic spamming and endless page 1 bumping would be one thing but you guys have designed this shit as self moderated spamming
and you have killed off any criticism and look what it got you smart ass with the Nazi forum rules ?
100x worse of a reaction that is what !
Censorship combined with spam / advertising is a bad combo!

edit:
and by the way you want the truth ?
REALITY CHECK time guys.
Cryptonote was a coin cloning platform that spawned a dozen or more coins and Monero is simply one of many "forks" (psuedo-clones)
That is the equivalent of making a Coingen coin and changing the code some and parading it around as the Bitcoin killer as you guys do NON STOP !
Are you guys forgetting all these grandiose claims you make all the time ?
Like the crazy ass Billion dollar market cap comments from the crazy guy i quoted ?
these Monero shills chirp off a lot of insane bullshit about Monero all the time then play dumb.
The guys really think their cryptonote clone/fork is better than Bitcoin LOL

OK, you are claiming unbelievably, essentially suggesting it is a lie.
Some simple advice:  Please kindly show your evidence behind this accusation or promptly cease repeating it or you will be seen as the liar in the end.
Certainly you have some.  Risto is quite prolific and posts proudly about most everything he does which should make your search easy.  Surely you will find something?
