1) This ships in 4 weeks tops, guaranteed.
2) This only runs a 40Watts.
3) They also offer payment plans, for getting started sooner.
4) This is modular, meaning you can get started with as little as $350.

You get what you pay for. If I hadn't already sent my precious BTC to some other FPGA company (woops), I would totally be all over this.

Code for the modminer has been pulled into the master tree for cgminer. The next cgminer version will have full support for this hardware.

Also, they went from announcement/pre-orders to shipping in five weeks.  I have financed eight units for different buyers and put in a purchase order for another 10 today.

Other than BFLs (which arrive eventually) and the intro special on the Cairnsmore, it's about the same price as the other competing products like the x6500.

I love the simplicity of the design! There are so few components on the PCBs, compared to other boards (Ztex, Enterpoint, Icarus, etc). You seem heavily inspired from the X6500 design, whose design is also extremely simple.

Ill consider investing in a few if the price goes down till then im on the sidelines.  Is there an option to have the boards not be the tacky white? or is that something your gonna stick with?

DIRTYCAT

Dont like the white?

NO PROBLEM

We have hired Color Consultants from the LA modeling Industry to help us offer colors more appealing to customers like you who like to nit pick and bitch about insignificant things.

Now the most important thing when picking the color of your FPGA miner is to make sure it not only matches your eyes, but also your shoes and if possible, your handbag.

Please use the color pallet below to pick the color of your mining unit and send an email with this information to covergirl@btcfpga.com and we will RUSH this information to the PCB Board fabricators in China to make sure we have a perfect color match for you.

The last thing we want is miners whos hardware clashes with their wordrobe.

And no matter how many weeks this delays shipment - this is our NUMBER 1 concern and we will do anything possible to make sure this does not happen.

Thank you SO MUCH dirty cat for bringing this to my attention, youve done a service not just to me but to the Bitcoin community in general

sorry im a slave to aesthetics.. I like my sports cars red my wheels chrome and my women brown.. but If you can do purple I would be a happy customer!  Grin

EDIT: on a serious note.. I would be more interested if we were able to get them in their natural pcb color..  I believe I saw green in your previous pictures and those looked professional.

I think I officially just shed a tear or 2 once I saw this re-design....I really liked the idea of using a single 120mm fan on the side of a 'stack' or similar....using the previous design/model.
