Node Monitor Update
Sorry for the delay releasing this. With the BitBrighton event over the weekend, I’ve had no time to get the graphics ready for the store submission. The app is tested and ready to go, so will have the images ready tomorrow and submitted to Google Play

Do the masternodes serve any technical function? Or are they just there to create incitement to promote the currency?

There is no money for nothing here. Both masternodes and Systemnodes (when released) perform technical functions.

There is no money for nothing here. Both masternodes and Systemnodes (when released) perform technical functions. You can read about their functions a bit here: https://crown.tech/systemnodes-vs-trons

Time4VPS 50% discountNo worries, this is not a sponsored message or whatever. Just sharing as it might be useful to some. Those who are still looking for Masternode and/or Systemnode hosting: Time4VPS is offering 50% discount on all their plans. Ridiculous prices going as low as € 0,50 per node per month. The following coupon code can be applied to all their plans: HALLOWEENURL: https://time4vps.eu/Note: The coupon code is only valid for 6 more hours!

wow thats damn cheap! can an agreement for more than 1 month be made Luc? Nevermind, they ran out of coupon codes much earlier than expected. However, they're still really cheap, especially if you choose to pay 1 or 2 years up front.

Developer for the first Timestamping service running on Crown needed
We are looking for a professional developer who would help to create a first timestamping service running on Crown, where we want to offer all the startups which come to our startup platform the option to timestamp their teaser. Busyman.cz is a platform that has been around for 7 years in a startup environment in Prague, where its basic idea is to help to process mostly web and technological startups in the early stages and to find them a suitable partner and investor - basically looking for smart money, not crowdfunding. Over the course of its history, Busyman has helped to fund nearly 100 startups with funding of over 6 mil EUR
We would like to encourage further uses of Crown with a professional Timestamping website, which we would use for each newly-launched startup on the Busyman platform with the idea of replacing in time standard patent offices, which are not very efficient and can not protect the authenticity of internet projects.
We have found a github project which we can fork so it should not be that difficult.
Please PM me if interested in the job (bounty is ready).

All, If you're coming to the Amsterdam meeting next week, contact myself or @mattblack on Mattermost and we'll give you some info you can reach us at in case you can't find the venue on the day itself. Travel adviceIf you plan on traveling via Amsterdam Central Station, you can take a quick ferry ride there. If you're traveling by car there's a tunnel that leads to the other side of the canal, but I could also recommend having your driver drop you off at central station and taking the ferry anyway, since it takes about as long and it's quite scenic. For scheduling see https://crown.tech/meetingHope to see you there!

Crown Atomic Weekly Update
During the last week Artem continued working on Atomic specification, he is working mostly on clarification of public key infrastructure which is an important part of the project. Yesterday Artem and the new developer he introduced to Crown discussed future steps with regard to his involvement in the project. He will be able to join Crown from December as a full time core developer. The new developer will mostly be working on the governance part of Atomic, Atomic and Governance are closely linked and Atomic heavily relies on a solid voting platform. Also the core team had their weekly meeting and discussed some important design changes that will influence the whole project, it will improve security and scalability of the system.
Systemnode Update
We see the light at then end of the tunnel with testing.. We're making sure to test as many potential use cases as we can to assure a smooth update. When Systemnodes are released there will be a cut off point for the majority of the network to update (2 weeks). This cut off point will be hard coded so make sure to update asap once the Systemnode update is released.
We expect to release Systemnodes before the development meeting in Amsterdam next Friday (Worst case is we release after the meeting)
