btw the nicehash zcash is open source, sp...what about modding it? maybe you can reach 500 sol with one 1070
I already did. My farm is currently mining monero, zcash and LBRY with private kernels.

If I did you would't get more than 400sol with your power limits. I just modded the nicehash Nheqminer. Abit faster than EWFB and without the fee. Not for sale. I mine cryptonight on my 750ti cards @ 300H/s Klaust's cuda 8 port is only doing 200H/s on the same cards.

And if you reduce the fee you are around 405. and poolside (with the lag of switching, you get less than 400). When I switched, I noticed that the displayed hashrate in the miner was abit lower, but accepted shares on the pool was higher.

Nvidia performance is in the shitter. There is really no reason to buy Nvidia anymore. There was at one point, too many people gloating in AMD miner threads about efficiency persuading others to purchase Nvidia and it tanked all the algos Nvidia is good at.
We need something new. Equihash was more or less a bust, Pascal launch has turned into a bust (AMD has a nice dual miner that works well with it), and Zcoin relaunch was also a turd.
Please look at BBR and RIE coin. There has to be something Nvidia is good at. At this point, it almost pays to sell all my 1070s and buy 480s. Hell even including all the time that'll take it still looks like a good option. I essentially have double priced hardware doing the same work.

a 1070 currently is making $1.7 a day while a 480 $1.1, with dual probably not much more, because wattage increase too also amd are currently good only on ethereum, and nvidia have a 1060 that cost the same and do the same but no dual mining...

a 1070 currently is making $1.7 a day while a 480 $1.1, with dual probably not much more, because wattage increase too Wattage doesn't share a linear relationship with efficiency, I've pointed this out before. Your energy doesn't cost as much as the amount you make in mining. Last I checked (four days ago) a 480 was making $1.5 dual mining pasc+eth, before all the markets started climbing. So, if they're dual mining for $1.50, they aren't spending a extra $.4 in power. Maybe you are with $.3kwh, but most people aren't. Actually at $.1kwh you'd have to burn a extra 170watts to reach $.4 in electricity, basically double the max TDP of the cards. Go dig around the Claymore Ethereum miner thread and you'll find benchmarks from people, then plug it into whattomine. 1070s earn silly amounts for how much they cost compared to AMD. It has been ever since 1070s dropped below $2 (before they're climbing now).

my current is 0.16 cent(euro), besides this where the $1.5 is coming from, currently a 480 mining only etheruem with 0.1 cent electricity is making less than $1($0.9), you're telling me that with dual mining they almost double their income? digging around, a 480 can only do 27MH on ethereum + 150 on pascal, that is hardly $1+($1.15 to be precise) no where near $1.5.... a 1070 can do $1.7 and has better density.... edit...seems that the 470 can do 29+150MH and the 480, 26 + 400MH, well this look better, but dual mining will not last, in fact pascal is tanking without limit, will follow same fate as sia and decred... btw...

I'm talking about revenue, I always talk about revenue because everyone has different electricity cost. It's pointless to try and compare 'profit' when that number will always be different. For a 480, it has almost a identical power envelope as a 1070. That means it will be about the same, depending on your electricity cost. Of course some algos use less electricity, but that's usually peanuts compared to the overall revenue with the exception of Equihash on 1070s. Not sure why you don't think it will 'last' any better then mining small coins with Nvidia hardware that are over saturated with Nvidia hashrate. The only reason altcoins are going up right now is because AMD users aren't mining Zcash anymore. All of Nvidia mining income right now depends on Zcash. There is too much Nvidia hash to be supported by the other altcoin algos like Lbry and Lyra2v2. Ethereum and Pascal are not niche coins. Decred and SIA aren't niche coins. They're as mainstream as they get with the volume and market to show for it. SIA and DCR have been around for quite some time, you have no idea what you're talking about if you think they're going to magically tank faster then say Library. If anything AMD mining profits are more likely to last then Nvidia as Nvidia is a niche. Our nice profits depended on obscurity, mining things AMD users aren't good at. Now that there are so many of us and there is so much Nvidia hashrate floating around, that's ruined. We generally have to mine the same things as Nvidia users once profit on coins tanks enough and it all equalizes with Zcash, which AMD also isn't bad at mining. There is no reason to buy overpriced Nvidia hardware unless a new coin comes along or some sort of optimization is made that makes Nvidia better at with a really big market.

crypto is up and down, now it's amd again, this is not a valid reason for me to choose amd, they have only etheruem now, which is again luck that its value increased randomly...
next time will be lbry or spreadcoin or zcash(amd is not that great here or at best the same cost per watt...), and will be talking about nvidia is better again...no point in these argument
also it's only because clymore didn't release the dual mining pascal for nvidia...

If you read on the spreadcoin thread there will soon be a fork of spreadcoin where the old coin holders will have a stake in the new coin. Similar to the ethereum classic fork. Might explain the +15% on the exchange price today. Good advice. Mine and hold, and buy some as well.. More info here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1809278.msg18021096#msg18021096
