If I change the withdraw % to 100% will I get this week's payment and then a withdrawal for the total amount?
100% means 100% of your interest will go to your interest account

I see now.  Thanks for clearing that up.

Do stats of the size of this exist, similar to Goat's dividend payment table?

I'm not too sure what you mean here. The due time for what?

I believe he is referring to Vandroiy's signature line...

I have three ongoing bets that BS&T will default in due time, the largest of which is 5000 BTC with Pirateat40 directly. If you believe BS&T susceptible to a bank run, read my posts with caution!

Buy a TREZOR! Premier BTC hardware wallet. If you're reading this, you should probably buy one if you don't already have one. You'll thank me later.

Uuhhh... damn, I didn't intend this. The time-span is absurdly long, it was just an artifact of the discussion, and I had nothing to lose since Pirateat40 allowed it arbitrarily long.

Please do not make safety assumptions from that. I think joining now has clearly negative expectation value! I did not hedge the bet; my exposure to BS&T is zero, and I have no intention to change that even though he "pays" 7% a week.

People don't like me talking about this, come to the bet thread at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=91661.0 (ignore the OP, we did something else), I'll answer anything there and less people get angry.

I just came for statistics... anyone please? I just want to know the face BTC value of this pass-through over time.

Depends on how you do it, if you keep it in for a week, and withdraw, you will have 1.069 of your original BTC, if you leave it in for two weeks, you will have ~1.14 of the original amount, three weeks ~1.22, four ~1.3, five 1.39, and so on and so on, assuming you don't withdraw any interest... I'm not going to go through and mess with any of the infinite combinations of possibilities you could do, or even mess with the 100 automated possibilities

Is your only point in posting in the thread to spread FUD?

No, I'm just looking for the total size of the pass-through. Reading the post before I was quoted would have helped. Just interested in how much it would cost BS&T in theory to pay out the whole pass-through now, a week ago, etc.

Just read the last few posts before starting the taunting. I asked for the stats, someone quoted me on my sig, I felt the need to respond. If you like FUD, I have that available too if there's need. Tongue

No, seriously. Nobody interested in the size of this beast? Someone's gotta have an estimate!

suffice to say it was quite over 10kBTC last i checked. I dont think Payb.tc would reveal the full amount out of respect for his customers however.

Go spread your FUD and embarrass yourself in the bet thread Vandroiy, no one is going to fall for it in this one.

lol indeed.

Check out this candidate which yields 97000 (paper) BTC for this pass-through alone. Most credible so far.

http://blockexplorer.com/address/19kEo3qmuUdAQb1Q7VZhRwahw5v3NSZCeW

Timings are payout days, so that part fits. Just divide by 0.07 to get a size candidate before re-investments. So if this is the one, it just passed 100k.

just preserving evidence, ignore pls for now

to open an account:

  • step 1: read the faq below
  • step 2: PM me with a withdrawal address
(optional: if you want any automated interest payments to go to a different address to your withdrawals, also tell me your interest address).
  • step 3: send 5 btc or more to the deposit address i give you

accounts default to automatically re-invest 100% of earnings, however lenders can update this percentage at any time from the bitcoin max login area (Can be set as low as 0% if you want the full payment sent each week).

thanks

http://bitcoinmax.com

default password is your deposit address, but this can be updated by lenders at any time within the login area.

F.A.Q. (make sure you have read this before PM'ing me!)

Q. What is the minimum deposit amount?
A. To open an account, you must send at least 5 BTC for your first deposit. After that, subsequent deposits can be any amount.

Q. What is the maximum account size?
A. There is no maximum at the moment.

Q. Can I reuse the same deposit address for additional amounts?
A. Yes

Q. Do I have to message you whenever I make a deposit?
A. No, use the deposit address you were given to deposit as often and as much as you like.

Q. If I deposit funds 'any time' doesn't that mess up your calculations?
A. No, interest is calculated in half-hour blocks, so for example if you deposit 10 bitcoins for 33.5 hours, you'll get 10 * (33.5 / (24 * 7)) * 0.069

Q. Can you confirm my deposit?
A. No. I can however give you a link to http://blockchain.info. If it's in the blockchain then interest will be calculated on it, starting from the first half-hour after it gets included in a block.

Q. I deposited money, when will it show up in my account?
A. If it has at least one confirmation, it should show up when you log in to bitcoinmax. <- this means you may need to log out and back in again

Q. How do I withdraw?
A. That's still via PM at the moment.

Q. I'm a new investor and can't log in to bitcoinmax.com
A. It's likely that I haven't set up your account there yet. This is on the list of things to automate soon.

Q. How old is your BST account? Is it at risk of forced withdrawals?
A. It's one of the very first accounts. There would probably only be 1-3 people that could cause me to get forced out. If for any reason my account has a forced withdrawal, then I may need to also force some or all of my lenders to withdraw from bitcoinmax.

Q. Do you offer any kind of guarantee or insurance against a BST default?
A. No. If BST defaults, your coins are lost.

Q. Can you give me a referral to BST?
A. No, I'm not offering referrals at all.

Q. Can you give me a referral to BST if I pay you XXX.YY btc?
A. Thanks for the offers, but please see the previous question.

Q. What is your real name?
A. While my real name is known and fairly easy to find, I'd prefer not to have it posted and searchable on this forum.

In addition:

while you can withdraw principal at any time, interest is only calculated and paid once per week. so that means if you deposit on a wednesday and withdraw it on a friday, the interest for those 48 hours won't be credited to (or withdrawable from) your account until the folllowing monday, after 21:00.
