If you guys think they are doing this just to cause mischief then go ahead and complain to the mods. However if you think they are sincere in what they are saying then you should let them say it.

We all agree with LETTING them say it, let them say it in threads dedicated to that very subject, we can read. This thread is for information , getting a notice every time some UnderDog wannabe tries to save the day is a little nauseating.

When I feel the need to puke I don't I puke in their beds and ask them to sleep in it, I courteously go to the bathroom or outside.

Just ignore him. He can't help being a dick.

Ignore whom? Smiley

While I do agree that there are a few people who are annoying in their speaking out against Pirate and the Pass throughs, I do think that they should be able to voice their concerns.

Speaking out and voicing concerns is one thing, but the individual in question (that Van guy also) has taken it upon himself to litter almost every thread even remotely related to any investments in the lending subforum. There are threads for making a case, and threads for information regarding the respective investments. What's being displayed is willful disregard for user opinion and opposing viewpoints.

The logic of the arguments has been presented elsewhere, but instead of agreeing to disagree he's fully crossed into the realm of harassment.

I don't want to see important messages of payb.tc get lost in the sea of FUD, because he mainly use this topic as a mean of communication.
I don't want to see important messages of payb.tc get lost in the sea of FUD, or in the even bigger sea of posts in which every user in turn is pointing out how tiresome it is to read those posts.

Now, just opened an account a couple of weeks ago. The site is great and so is the service. Also, appreciate how you keep us informed (eg. Mt.Gox having issues this week), thanks payb.tc!

I really question why you guys are donating anything to Payb.tc, given that he's currently making over $9000 per week off of this. That's about $470k per year, for those of you who are bad at math.

And I really question why you should give a shit Maged.

I'd be interested in seeing where you've pulled those figures from though.   Somewhere dark and stinky methinks.

Either Bitcoin is at $100 or you think that 0.1% is the same as 1%

How have you worked that out?

lets see if 9k$ is 0.1%, lets say that is roughly 1k btc. that would mean total sum invested with bitcoinmax would have to be 1 million btc. even in the fud threads the whole "pirate ponzi" is only estimated at 300-500k btc.

lets assume he is bad at math and meant to say $900 a week / 47k a year, assuming 100k btc bitcoinmax volume, which is still a wild guess. still no other pass through is providing as good an offer as this so I think its still ok to say thx and donate if you have too much btc on your hands. I mean wtf... he cant even remotely buy a 911 turbo with that...

Maged knows something we don't...

Everyone pull your coins!  Wink

Though, lots of love for Maged. Don't quite agree with his stance on BS&T, but that's it.

Donations are welcome!

I don't know, but I guess the calculation goes something like this:

Quote
bitcoin max gets about 9000 BTC per week in interest.

payb.tc is on the 7.7% interest level and pays out 6.9%, so he keeps 9000 * (7.7-6.9) / 7.7 = 935 BTC per week.

935 BTC is over $9000.

BitcoinMax is not getting 9000 BTC in interest, true, but it's getting over 8000 BTC in interest. With a .8% cut for yourself, you personally made about 950 BTC for yourself this last week. That's over $9000, even if the bitcoin price drops a bit.

That will compromise the investigation, so I cannot. Every day, though, we're finding out more about Pirate's scheme.

he's using vandroiy logic:

(interest + withdrawals) > 8000

withdrawals = ??

therefore interest > 8000

is very simple, if pirate is smarter to think of something before everyone else, he would be smart enough to cover up as much as he requires....just a thought.

Also for all the people who talk about pirate being a ponzi, just remember that, we as individuals are limited by our own intelligence. It allows us only to 'digest' whatever is within our own limited capacity to understand.....we only have the ability to think within our mind, if someone else is smarter, they just are....like pirate is....
