I could be wrong but in my reading of this article:
Error 522 – CloudFlare Support
https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200171906-Error-522
it does not seem like a 522 is DNS related.

If it connects to CloudFlare then of course it's not DNS related anymore. I will look into that.

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.

It looks like in most cases it's a problem with a broken cURL. I'm now preparing a version that doesn't use it, which (hopefully) should fix these problem for some people. Please be patient.

New FiaB version: https://static.faucetbox.com/download/faucetinabox/faucetinabox-r25.zip

It'll try to connect without cURL if it fails. It fixed the problem in my test environment, but I think it won't fix the problem for everybody yet. It looks like some versions of OpenSSL just try to use SSLv3 no matter what (while the server only accepts TLS), and SSL is already broken and insecure.

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.

I had a FaucetBOX site working just fine with v22 and v23 which then stopped working with v24 - even tried re-loading the hosting account / database and editing the API script etc. *shrugs*

Anyway I decided to try v24 on a different hosting account and it worked right 'out-of-the-box'.

Herewith: http://freebitcoin.rocks !

" Breaking Blocks + FaucetBOX.com = freebitcoin.rocks "   Grin

~ Should I try updating to v25 if its working ?

P.S. Please can you add Mintcoin ? I'd run a Mintcoin Faucet too.

Cheers!

I just want to say this is a great project and it's working well so far. I am thinking about switching back simply because of the 5% fee, it is just too big for Bitcoin. If you were to cut back to 3% I think many more people would use your service.

I think they set all deposit fees to 2% last time I checked? I could be wrong about that though.

I understand that it's high, but currently we're paying 2.1% fees to the Bitcoin network when sending transactions plus everything we're paying for servers. It's simply not a cheap business.

I think it would be possible to lower the fees if we'd place ads on our faucets list. What do you think about it?

I have to fix some problems with database deadlocks when doing transactions, so there won't be any withdrawals until Saturday. Sorry for inconvenience.

I think you can add a "Featured Faucet of the Week" or something like that for 0.05 or .1 to help pay off the fees. I am sure someone would step up and pay that.

To be honest will not hurt us if you put adds on faucetbox. since you dont use frames.

start monetizing it.

My faucet (in sig) has a doge faucet using FaucetBox. It's awesome, and my site's been getting lots more hits since I started using it. Free publicity. Considering switching to FaucetBox for the Bitcoin faucet as well.

I don't know how, but today I reached a point where I've made money from my faucet. Only 4 ads on the whole site.

So... all has been well. Smiley

The owner of FaucetBox has been very responsive regarding an issue I had with receiving a payout.  The issue got resolved and the payout took place Thursday.

Thank you for working so hard on this new micropayment processing service.

Version r25 fixed it for Grimnir. Can you check it please?

And yes, only TLS is supported, no SSL.

Well that's a disappointment, please make SSL supported.
