Such a shame those faucets with thresholds have to be taken down... As one of those faucet owners, I have switched over to Xapo since there is no reason to stay with Faucetbox anymore (the fees are just too high)

Xapo is an even less open than FaucetBox IMO. I hope you don't make cashing out exclusive to Xapo wallets too.

He has

We no longer use Faucetbox. We now directly deposit to your wallet with crappo

http://wonderlandco.in/faucet

LOL! You just reminded me of Inputs.io ... so many similarities with Xapo. Tongue

Now paying out direct to your wallet (updated)

And its gone.

Of course not. Their API deposits directly to ANY BTC address. I have Coinbase and it deposited within 15 mins. Meanwhile, I still have to wait 2 days for my previous balance from Faucetbox to even appear in my wallet... zzzz

Xapo and FaucetBOX.com have completely different goals and targets. Xapo is more like a Blockchain.info. If Xapo if better for you then you should use it. No hard feelings Smiley.

Unless stated otherwise, all opinions are of my own, not FaucetBOX.com's.

It seems Faucetbox is very unstable in the past hour.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it is loading very slowly and sometimes it simply gives me an error 502.

Our servers can't keep up with the traffic, sorry for that. Our transactions per second increased twice just in last 3 weeks. We've ordered a new server, I hope we'll be able to resolve it in upcoming week.

Reminder: DON'T keep more coins then it's really needed on your FaucetBOX.com accounts. One faucet owner just got hacked hard and he didn't see that before we started processing the withdrawal Sad

True. Listen to the warning signs and keep hot wallet funds and coin stashes separate. Use strong passwords. 2FA whenever possible/necessary.

And then it takes 2 days to not even be approved yet. Great job.

I think they actually pay you, so no fees at all. Not sure though.

No I don't think they pay you (maybe they did before?) It's just 0 fees, but there is still a threshold of 5,400 satoshi before it deposits to someone's address.

Is this site working for others?

http://faucetbanks.com/

I tried it and got "unknown error" and then refreshed, it told me I needed to wait for 120 minutes, but got no payment on the Faucetbox account. But I've been having intermittent problems with Faucetbox's site recently.

It also says it's 60 minutes, but it's actually 120 minutes.

They posted this yesterday, definitely their server issues:

Dear faucetbox,

I would like to report that BitHell.io got automatically rejected a few minutes ago. It seems it was due to a "hosting error" or something related to that. I must note that we have no issues with our sites (bithell and bitheaven run perfect here).

I already resent the application, but I am really afraid it will take days/weeks before getting re-approved. We were on top 15 on your lists and we don't want to lose traffic because of this.

I am 99% confident that bithell got rejected due to an error with faucetbox and not on our side.

Thank you in advance and we hope you'll also manage to fix the lag and slow connection.
