I am glad to have sold most of my Factom already, just left 1/3, if anyone is interesting, I can sold them all at IPO price(around 10 BTC).

There is only 5 btc price support so you may find it difficult to find a buyer right now. But the tech and uses look really good for long term.

It seems no one cares about the price and the trading volume of FCT here, FCT's price is sh*t now!

It's very easy to manipulate a market this small. I've been looking at that chart closely and it has all the signs that someone tried to pump and dump it. That person was not successful and then dumped all the 'toids he gathered. Probably moved on to another asset on Poloniex.

It doesn't mean anything. Just wait. There is so much being built on the Factom layer. It's a matter of time before traders like you are going to have a lot of fun.

That's not what a "pump" means. Pump is an artificial rise in price created ONLY to lure in buyers so the "pumper" can then dump his holdings.

Could it be simply people selling their FCT to be in BTC ? It has all the looks of another bubble forming.
Could it also happen that when BTC crashes again after the bubble, people will poor their jackpot money into great other assets like FCT ?

I think the price of FACTOM is due to the bitcoin bubble associated with an illiquid market.

There is some panic buy of bitcoin and people want to get some by selling their factoids and as the volume is really little the price shrinks...

On an other hand it is really strange that such a good project does not attract more people.

Anyway FACTOM has a huge potential but it is not sure that it will survive enough to show its real potential.

We will see when they will start to have real customers (Honduras, greece etc...) when the business will really start if gov/people like the project the price of factoid could be really huge.

p.s. Yesterday's on Polo look proposal for sale 65K Factoids (one order) for 27.3 BTC .
The proposal has been available for about 10 minutes, but then see the owner to remove this sentence and did not sell.
At this time Bitcoin no longer go up and sagged in a little price. Maybe it stopped the owner from selling factoids.

I may have missed a previous answer to this question, but can anyone tell me if my 12 word Koinify phrase will still provide access to my Factoids once I've imported my Factoids to a Factom wallet address?  If so, what do I need to do to prevent that from happening?  I don't want those 12 words to provide access to the Factoids in my wallet.

Yes it can be reimported but will generate the same address in a brand new wallet.
If you don't want the passphrase to be used again (once you import it the first time) all you need to do is to move the imported Factoids to a new address.
After you do that even if you use the same passphrase again the balance will be zero.

2. It's not just about news that are new for you or those who are already in Factom. It should be more about those who have never heard of Factom.

The price is where it is, because too many still don't understand the potential of this project and it doesn't have the attention in the Crypto-Community it would deserve. Many just see it as a Blockchain-project and they miss that it has it's own economy and it's own currency. That's what I believe and that's why I think it's always good to post informations.

We are working with shapeshift, but do not have a date yet when factoids will be supported.
We have a GUI for factoids which will be releasing soon. It will run on windows, Mac, and Linux. We are not yet working on a mobile wallet, but don't really anticipate a great need for a mobile wallet at this time.

Now it is true, Bitcoin has risen from $230 to $460, so the price factoids dropped from 0.00050 to 0.00020. So it should be. Why panic?

p.s. It is necessary to negotiate with Chinese, that they put factoid on Chinese exchanges, maybe only then it will be possible to raise prices factoids.

FCT on a chinese exchange would be good, but imagine just one exchange would use Factom to record all trades. ;-)
