Adam, feeling better now?  Assuming you did buy!  Wink

no comment

NOES!  you didn't!  Huh

no i didn't sell more

But I like my position. Because up or down is good for me, and i want to keep a good amount of $ on the exchange. I often buy stuff on ebay, and since i buy coins on Virtex, i get like 5% when i give it to spendbitcoin.com for an ebay gift code.

IMO this is not a good time to buy, it might just go up more, but i believe I can get a better price waiting out this crazy mad fool buyers wave.

whats the point of buying at 12 watching it go to 13 and then drop?

nothing anyone can say can change my mind.

hopefully i can quit smoking and have more money... but any money saved their will be going toward living! I'm buying a car soon, another baby on the way.... life is expensive, i can't afford the risk.

Translation: "I am in denial."

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Nah, he's just going to be a father and has to be more responsible with his limited resources.  Only rich fathers can afford high risk investing.

That sucks not being able to afford the risk. Perhaps if you had bought more bitcoins earlier then you could afford the risk. Ever read the great novel Catch 22?

the sad fact of the matter is that he did buy much earlier at much lower prices but then he sold.  he's hoping for a 31% correction before he's willing to buy back.

Hey guys,

interesting thread here...

I am wondering which black tool it is you take screen shots of. I do not mean the default "http://mtgoxlive.com/orders?volumeon;dark", but the one with a linux desktop and the green bars on the right?!

And I am wondering what you are looking for specifically. Walls on the bid and ask curve of course. But also the accumulated volume values on the axes?

Do you have any references? Historical values or anything?

Adam, there's a point at which the manipulation and the market itself become one and the same.  Cheesy

IMO, the current price is driven by a small group of big players who, it seems, are not willing to drive price too high suddenly. Unless we start seeing some panic buying, there will not be a major crash in the near term.

EDIT: One more thing, I already spent money I afford to lose. I am just not selling right now.

and if there is a panic buying it could easily shoot up to all time highs before crashing
