I still don't get why people believe pirate is short in any significant way.
Remember he has to payout in BTC. Which implies a bullish price for BTC if he ever has to buy it on the open market. he said he was in control of the drop from 7 to 4 he said he would be in control of the drop from 9 to 6 i believe him i believe he believes what he says is true. Now that this post was modified, I must say that I agree. The issue I see here if that if one wishes to take on pirate as a bull, then one must be prepared to tolerate at least a drop to 6 USD.

How do you guys think he could sell enough BTC to get to 6 and then somehow buy it ALL back +7% more? I know adam will be in there buying and I'll bet a lot of others would pile in as well...

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system. - GA

Looking at the incremental buys and the doorstops on the way down, I would guess we hit 10 today if it keeps up.

I don't see why, whatever individual or groups has brought us up almost $1 in 5ish days on only 8 big buys could easily eat that little wall of <7000 coins.

I still don't get why people believe pirate is short in any significant way.
I too can't make much sense of it. He has to pay back his liabilities in BTC, thats true. So from week to week he has to pay less when prices are lower then the week before that. BUT:When he wants to cash out (lender's funds or own profits) he will get most for his BTCs if prices are high. He also seemed to have caused the unprofitable sell offs in the last 2 weeks in order to keep prices down. So why would he do that if he is richest when prices are up? The only way I see to solve this dilemma is that he may want to drive prices down as long as he accumulates bitcoin for his operation and has to pay out dividends to lenders and once we get closer to cash out day, he will encourage rallies to gain maximum profits for his sell out.

Why most of you think that he needs to buy now? What if he already bought or currently buying before flying above 10?

Good bye 10 wall. EDIT: So it looks like 10 well placed big buys will get you a dollar increase in price in less than a week.
