There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

No, both spikes are buys. (The 1 minute candle opens at 10.17, spikes to 10.50, closes at 10.13.)

Every time Mt. Gox makes a profit, the value of Bitcoin goes up.

Both spikes were buys. The reason the volume bar is red is because the close price of that candle stick was lower than it's open due to some minor selling when the candlestick closed. The majority of that volume was buying.

Ok guys, this truly bears the hallmarks of Pirate. The only question is: When will he release the 40-60k BTC he bought up over the last 2 days?

Prepare for incoming Mega Dump!

What an insulting bid.

Pull your Bitcoins out of the exchange. We're done here. We'll come back at $1000 -- maybe.
