It's impossible to have all the information. But they do all have the same information and most will be able to draw the same conclusions.
I agree with the first sentence, but the second is what I am disputing. The primacy of this event is what I think will cause wildly diverging conclusions. To add some speculation: The bull run towards the split has only just begun and I expect some epic trading action from October as the actors begin to fully grok the supply drop. Game theory doesn't tell you what will happen just what is likely to happen given what is the best strategy out of all the available strategies in the game that is being being played, the players and the available information.

Thanks for that. I think you misunderstood me. I don't believe the block reward halving is priced in already.. But I do believe it will get priced in before it actually happens.
