Have many of you guys invested in the alts as well as BTC ?

Their capacity to double is much quicker than BTC and as they're traded in BTC they take advantage of BTC rise plus the rise of their own traded price.

No one wants to wait until Monday.

They were waiting for the dip that never came and were all like, better get in before too late.

14,000 accounts waiting on gox is so bullish. I think we might see $300 before the end of the next two weeks.

Insane.

Not just that, fundamental bullish indicators are all over the place, the publicity stunt is a great success.

I think the guy who just bought 6,600,000,000.00 microBTC with a mere 1,000,000.00 USD is laughing his ass off.

There is certainly an opportunity for short term profits in alts, but I don't believe there is much of a fundamental case to be made for them. At best I expect one or two alts surviving as some kind of Bitcoin mixer, but that's not enough to risk losing any BTC over them.

Pretty much.

I have some NMC left over from Slush's pool.  They actually have some usefulness distinct from BTC.  And as a mixer... yes.
