So does anybody else think there will be another "delay" Monday?

Or maybe paybase will open up, but there will be some kind of hurdle that won't allow you to trade XPY for BTC?

I think the chances are good that there will be some more BS excuses.

The hurdle has already been confirmed by josh himself ... he will manage the XPY for BTC for the clients, there is no withdrawing going to happen.

The next question is how long will the KYC process take .... or how long can he delay that for?

We also all know that you plan to sell the company when you can for 1 billion.   Loyalty LOL

LOL what next? Bill Gates is backing GAW? More FUD please Cheesy
gaw spread their own FUD remember target, wallmart, amazon, macy's? o wait was it meganet only instead?

could of swore i read that in forbes, time inc etc. how are those interviews going? any release frame on them yet? announced 5 weeks ago werent they?

So you are spreading your own FUD in retaliation for GAW FUD? Good strategy!

hey ht shrill ikeboy dysk bitcoingeek gefafwisp are all known gaw fan boys pay them 0 heed and treat them with 0 credibility

I am not a gaw fan boy. Perhaps you could try engaging in the arguments I've made instead of dismissing me as "fanboy". I've tried to call out lies on both sides of the debate here and elsewhere. Please show me what I've said that isn't true. It's very easy to dismiss someone, and much harder to disprove what they are saying. Quote what you have a problem with, and defend your attacks on it.

Has anybody looked through the minting process on the chain and if the prime controllers are doing what GAW told us?

this addresss : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xpy/address.dws?82499.htm

is labeled as a "Prime", so it looks like it spat out :

398.198539 XPY [Stake]

so far in the staking period.

(Not sure if that's what Primes are "supposed to do", but at least it shows they are creating coins from thin air - that should help the price a lot, wow!  Roll Eyes
times this by 20$ u rl think gaw has that much capital they cant even flat out say yes well put up a 20$ floor with the current xpy in the wild keep in mind this is with less then a week of stakeing my speculation if gaw cant pump xpy to 25$ there forced to take the hit directly if its 25$ on the exchange then paybase wont be under direct fire cause gaw will prob say even though xpy is worth 25$ we only buy for 20$ or some bs btw 398k out of thin air is pure madness even joker would say your crazy
ps i sold btc for 326 its at 318 now Wink my buy orders at 317 changed to 318

Bitcoin is generating over a million dollars a day. https://blockchain.info/stats What does your joker have to say about that?

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/2q8eyd/the_truth_about_paycoin/

Also stupid cryptsy has been holding a tiny Bitcoin withdrawal of mine for 4 days now. They're a scam. Should have stuck to bittrex.

I pointed out some inaccuracies in that post https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/2q8eyd/the_truth_about_paycoin/cn4avtm and mostly got yelled at. It didn't give me a lot of confidence that the people reading knew what they were talking about. (Note: the OP responded to me trying to change their claims, but their post was deleted for some reason, as were some of mine, so keep that in mind if you get confused by some of the posts.) Only a single one https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/2q8eyd/the_truth_about_paycoin/cn4kar1 quoted any links at all, and that was something I didn't disagree with. So far no one has given any sources disproving what I said over there.

Some idiot is trying to spam the archives we have with the same page over and over, but good thing we got the good ones cataloged in quotes on here.

probably ikeboy, he's shilling all over Reddit

Read above. If you're going to claim that, defend it. Tell me which part of my posts you have a problem with, and why they are wrong.

(I'm going to make a separate post about the archive.today thing.)

Interesting, normally you'd relish in GAW customers behaving like fools, but when one actually makes a foolish mistake, it's suddenly Proof Of Scam!

Interesting you are happy to profit of other mistakes, we already knew this.

Tell me Josh, how come there are a lot of people on your forum that have posted endless threads about selling at a significant loss like the price of 1 prime for 500 or so.  And then on the flipside not one person has ever posted they scored a deal of a lifetime on the forum.  In fact, the common theme within each mistaken sale is the system is setup and designed to cause mistakes because you yourself have your bots on the market place that snaps up these deals within mili seconds.

Your capticha is a joke because get this, people are still making mistakes and the mysterious 0.0003 of a nano second bot is still snapping up peoples mistakes. People don't have time to cancel it which is a dead giveaway dude when your bots snap them up within half a second of them being placed on the market. No lag on your end.

Not only that, you haven't allowed people to merge or split their cash takers, and this poor guy obviously made a mistake, which was by design a part of the system you allowed to be in place right now.  The only choice you gave him in this instance was Stake paycoins or not...thats it, he cant even sell his cash taker even if he wanted too nor his account.

Now, you tell me, who is greedily profiting off peoples mistakes within a system designed by the very people who can only capitalize on said mistakes.

You're getting close

I did, but people continue to respond here. I can't get them to move to there, so I'm replying here.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=905255.0

You need to take the hint from those responses and stop. PM the member you have beef with and sort it out like adults.

You also need to stop your archive.today script. You made it worse than HT itself, it's impossible to find anything there. There is absolutely no need to scrape all crap from HT and it is likely to get you and others in trouble - if it hasn't already, I can't submit new URLs manually now.

My archive script is no longer running. I'm going to make another one that just archives all of https://hashtalk.org/user/gawceo 's posts every hour or so. There was a problem with the script, and it was doing the same urls too many times. If someone wants to help with that, I wrote up pretty much what was needed over at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.msg9942542#msg9942542 . If you've got decent bash skills OR any scrapy experience, you should be able to help. Until then, I'll take it down.

That said, I'm kind of disappointed that I was able to ddos archive.today accidentally with a free service. (It was a single amazon ec2 free tier instance.) My script scraping hashtalk is still running, and they're working fine, so if archive.today has worse stability than hashtalk ... I'm both surprised and upset. I think whoever runs it should have better uptime than that, anyway. (Of course, it could just be coincidence that it happened while I was running my script, as even though my script hasn't been running for a while, it's still down.) I've sent them a few messages and am waiting for them to get back. In the meantime, there are many other archiving services you can use. You can add it to the wayback machine, or http://www.webcitation.org/, or anything listed in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Web_archiving_initiatives.

The author of archive.today has mentioned specifically that you can submit a lot of urls at once, so I didn't think it would be a problem. http://blog.archive.today/post/45031162768/can-you-recommend-the-best-method-script-so-i-may That's actually where I took that part of my script from.

Here's my new script:

> cat archive.sh

sleep 5
curl --data url=$1 https://archive.today/submit/

> cat  gawceo.sh
while true
do
lynx -dump -listonly https://hashtalk.org/user/gawceo |sed  -n -e "s/^.*ps\:\/\///p"> gawceo.txt
while read in; do archive.sh "$in";done<gawceo.txt
sleep 300
done

This waits five minutes between each run, and waits 5 seconds between each request. Hopefully works better. If someone wants to compile a list of people who work for gaw and their usernames, that would be useful, and I'll run it on those.

The thing is, archive.today doesn't have a redundancy filter. So you're making 12 pages an hour, which isn't as bad as that thing flooding it with thousands of pages, and if it does GAW Ceo's posts will be a lot more useful than the weird garbage it archived over and over lol.

They actually do; if you submit the same url within 5 minutes of it being submitted it just sends you to the page it already did.

Do you know enough scripting to help out here? I think just submitting new urls and/or new comments on old ones should be sustainable. You can go through my posts above and tell me what I should change. I don't want to break the Internet any more than you do, but I do want this to be done right. Come on, isn't there some overlap between the bitcoin and good-at-scripting communities?

It's really looking like anyone with a paycoin hoping to get $20 on Monday is shit outta luck...

From Homero himself:
https://hashtalk.org/topic/26053/time-to-turn-on-the-bots/63

The question is how will everyone handle it? Will this precipitate a price crash of XPY on the exchanges once it really sinks in to all those investors who have been paid only hash points for the last few months? Or will Homero rise to hold back the flood that would surely be the demise of all of gaw-land?

I saw one post about trying to transfer btc out of cryptsy.. I was having the same problem. They also started a confirm by email for all withdrawals which might be your issue too. They don't say you need to confirm with email when you do the transfer, but you do, and I have 2FA set up so really.. thanks morons, how about informing us of your design changes..  Huh

Actually I did the email confirmation, it says confirmed on the withdrawals screen. Support finally unlocked it after 5 days. Cryptsy is a scam.

yep this week (29th?) will determine if I keep my Tagline below or not..it is one thing imho to advertise for virtual cloud mining (your choice
if you think it will make $$$) and/or say a gambling tag line (same thing if it is your cup of tea)

BUT

to talk all the folk out of their scrypt miner wallets and USD and BTC and say this new paycoin is backed and worth $20 at launch and it ends up
just a way to bleed $$$$ out of folk via your pre-mined paycoin (even if paycoin fails GAW wins)

well the tag line below will have to go and I think this last month (DEC) is gonna go to support Bitcointalk forum via
a donation if that becomes the case

Anyway was fine with the tagline when they sold equipment and also virtual miners (hey whatever floats your boat)but
if GAW does not follow thru ..it will be a step to far imho *just what we will need to start the new year another Gox type mega scandal and
the world wide press...jumping on the evil bitcoin again* sheesh....

If GAW knows this paycoin is not gonna fly I suspect they will again postpone the launch till after the new years and this coming
weekend as the next excuse

and if paycoin comes out of the gate at $20 bucks and stays there on a Dec 29th launch I will get on here and have a fine meal of Crow!

(i've had crow before much better with tabasco and strong drink)

so it goes....

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

If GAW knows this paycoin is not gonna fly I suspect they will again postpone the launch till after the new years and this coming

I don't think it's binary. They delay on the 29th because they know it's a failure or they release on the 29th because they know it will be a success. GAW has never had a release go smoothly. Give it six months. That's a lifetime in crypto. Just because you have XPY at $20 for a few weeks does not mean things are successful. From a purely economic standpoint, I don't understand how the XPY ecosystem is going to work. There is so much sell pressure building up over at HT that I'm surprised people haven't given themselves strokes. Almost every post is how they are going to sell part of their XPY holdings at $20 on Monday and buy themselves something special. With all that sell pressure, the only way to maintain the price is for GAW to purchase at that price. They have already backed away from that statement. Even if you set aside the short term, I don't understand how the long term works given the extreme inflationary nature of XPY.

The smart ones all took something off the table already and one or two of them even said so, though they didn't scream it from the bell tower. It's called risk mitigation. You get your money back plus a little profit. Whatever you keep on the table is free. If it works out, great. If it doesn't, no loss. Hell, even Redacted moved 3K XPY out. In spite of his posts proclaiming that smart people put all their eggs in one basket and telling people to hold. Why would he move XPY out if, as he says in his posts, people should keep all their eggs in one basket and hold XPY? Oh yeah, then there was that 3K sell order on Cryptsy not long after he got his XPY out. Was it him? Who knows but the trade volume has been so low that it is certainly one hell of a coincidence.
