I don't know of any other sites that let you do this. Bitbet doesn't do odds, and fairlay takes too long to accept bets and doesn't accept all of them.

I don't see anyone complaining of being screwed by betmoose, but great excuse, considering you started out telling me to put it on betmoose.

So you're recommending something for security, calling it the best, but don't know how it works? Remind me never to take advice from you again.

Anyway, no escrow system can avoid trust. If we bet over this Counterparty thing, and there's a dispute, who decides that? It can't be one of us, or we'd just choose ourself even if we're wrong. It can't be a third party unless we both trust that third party; in which case we might as well just send the coins to them in escrow, or use a multi-sig address. That is what betmoose does; they act as a trusted third party, holding each sides coins in escrow until the bet is decided.

But it appears that maildir is only trolling, as they haven't put up the money even though they've said many times that they would.

Why is 11% terrible? 1 month return of 11% is 250% return a year. If you're very confident that gaw is going bust soon then it seems like a no0brainer.
