Hey, anyone have problems transferring out of their wallet?
My wallet appears up to date (8046 blocks) but my send to Cryptsy is stuck. Broadcast to 6 nodes but no confirmations for over 12 hours now.
delete wallet.dat and restart your qt. that'll fix it  EDIT: no, don't do that, that would be very silly, i'm being a rascal. Yeah he's right. You have to delete system 32. Can't believe he tried to trick you you win a badge. |

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

They do realize there is MAYBE 30 Bitcoin holding up the buy orders from .0333+? I don't understand some people. It's like they think heavy whales really care to dump a price down 30% for 30 Bitcoin or less. Lol.
Let them lose money, everybody needs to burn their fingers to learn. God knows I have lost my fair share in hyped up and overnight pumped coins. Some of them will learn and admit they were wrong. We won't hear from them, but still. Some probably find all kinds of reasons to believe it wasn't a scam, but a cruel act of fate that brought them down. It is even worse than that. A couple days ago I posted something from HT where people were talking about creating a SELL wall to bring the XPY price up. That is the level of imbecility and delusion involved here. You're surely joking? |

It is even worse than that. A couple days ago I posted something from HT where people were talking about creating a SELL wall to bring the XPY price up. That is the level of imbecility and delusion involved here. LOL. That made my day if it was true.  The thing about those exchanges is, the majority of trading is probably just day traders so it's artificial volume at that. Real whales are waiting to dump into GAW, probably offloading a small fraction on other exchanges to hedge their risk a little bit. |

Just for shits n gigs, I added up all the visible buy orders on cryptsy. They all span from 0.03410000 to 0.04378900. How many XPY were there in that span?? 1771. LOL Check the volume chart for just how hilarious that is. What comedy gold!

I am reading posts here for like 5 hours ... and i still dont understand why its this argue about a crypto win or failure... so please i invite you to look at all other crypto currencies... they all fall down ... that is the cryptos life.. eventually will go down ... have you seen anybody being punished or being in prison because of the failing of dogecoin  Or maybe someone was punished because of the litecoin drop .. or bitcoin drop ... or mtgox scam ... please stop talking what you dont know... i got this saying in my country ... the dog dies of long run and the fool dies of otherone concerns .... so let gaw concern about the price upping or droping .. you cant stop them selling their products.... you cant stop the paybase opening ... and we have a chance to prevail when all others have failed ! |

update your wallet to latest 1.2.25, copy wallet.dat away, delete paycoin folder, copy wallet.dat back, restart paycoin. |

update your wallet to latest 1.2.25, copy wallet.dat away, delete paycoin folder, copy wallet.dat back, restart paycoin. Delete the wallet, accept your losses, and move on with your life to more fruitful endeavors |

To my knowledge this is the first coin to be created, promoted, and backed by a "major" company. They have made very explicit promises about what will be delivered for investment in Paycoin. That changes everything as far as legality goes compared to some coin created by a kid in his mom's basement. A corporation taking people's money for a promised product or return on investment and then not delivering it is not a "scam" it is fraud, and is still quite illegal *Unless you are part of the banking system that controls the government. |

I agree with most of what you say except of GAW past history. They didnt deliver on everything they announced, but something like 60-70% which is more than most other companies in this area.
You have also a point here - I could read between the lines and most probably would find anything I want (Maybe they didnt mine: We have no proof; Maybe PayCoin is centralized: We have no proof; Maybe there is no backing fund: We have no proof etc)....
What I want to point out - PayCoin/ GAW has a big momentum now and this can have three possible outcomes:
1. Mass adoption of crypto
2. Failure and everybody looses everything (reason why it fails doesnt matter to me). This can also happen with every other coin/ business I build around a coin
3. Something in between
For the slightest chance going no.1 I am happy to provide some support.
Main "innovation" of PayCoin is the potential floor and a person who can mobilize masses. This was always the "knock-out" argument in every discussion I lead over the last years with different mainstream people/ businesses. They asked me: "When I buy a Bitcoin for 100$ today, who guarantees me it is worth 100$ tomorrow"? I always failed to deliver a satisfying answer for that. Average people need a transition period fiat->crypto where the value of their Coin is tied/ backed by a strong entitiy. GAW may be this entitiy.
Bitcoin/ all others Cryptos until now lack an entity which brings a guaranteed value so that Bob can sleep @night knowing his hard earned money isnt endangerd by price swings - this is imho one of the main hurdles for mainstream adoption.
Most, if not all, verifiable and trustworthy cryptos (regardless of trading value/volume) have one major component in common - a legally registered Foundation made up of unbiased and well known industry insiders who act as the public face to the greater community. 90% of the transparency needed to facilitate a successful coin ecosystem is often handled by the Foundation and not any single person or company. GAW/Zen's refusal to any reasonable amount of transparency or verifiable processes speaks volumes to their overall character, business ethic, and true belief in their own "coin". Repeatedly, they have been challenged to prove any of their critics wrong yet instead of doing so the proper way, their immature "CEO" has their single attorney send out C&D letters with threats of lawsuits. If this "CEO" only put as much effort in to doing business the proper and legal way as he does facilitating their current scheme, maybe the need for the "scheme" wouldn't be so pressing. With that, I am heading out for the Holiday and may not be able to reply to anymore comments directed towards me. Whether or not paycoin is a ponzi scheme and despite the ethics of the way it has been launched the question of paybase prevailing as a good thing is questionable in itself as well as it isn't as decentralized as we want and there are some serious concerns about the inflationary nature and collusion with regulators which many don't care for. If they want to be govcoin 2.0 and aren't a scam than fine, I won't try and stop them, but don't expect us to want to care or deal with cryptofiat and josh better come clean about the MSB if he is going you play the role of doing everything by the book. |
