In a bold move, CEO Josh Garza of GAW Miners made a public guarantee that his company will ship their flagship scryptminer, The Vaultbreaker, before the company's last remaining competitor, Knc, will ship their Titan. “For too long, ASIC companies have taken advantage of their customers” said Josh Garza. “I want to fight for the individual miners who want the best chance to ROI”. Both companies began taking pre-orders earlier this year.

Despite the Vaultbreaker’s lower cost over the Titan, it boasts considerably more powerful stats, including nearly double the hashrate, at 750MH/s vs the Titan’s 400MH/s figure. With batch 1 orders $1,000 less expensive and nearly double the hashrate, the LitecoinNews.org reported that the Titan’s only chance was to ship earlier than the Vaultbreaker to make-up for it’s deficit in power and price.

Recently, GAW Miners has been asking KNC’s Titan customers to fight for a refund and replace their purchase with a Vaultbreaker. And more recently, a GAW Miners Vaultbreaker customers have been seen taunting the rival in hashtalk.org with praise and YouTube videos.

KnC might be late-delivering cancellation-refusing assholes, which they are, but I do know that they did actually create the Titan in the end.

What happened with the Vaultbreaker?

People were given a choice between Hashlets or receiving the equivalent hashrate in A2/Zeus miners (with no option to convert to Hashlets). The people who opted for hardware received Alche's in the end.

Its not an implicit approval.  There is a mechanism for an implicit approval called a no action letter... basically, that would mean that the SEC investigated and decided to take no action as matter of policy (as opposed to lacking sufficient direct evidence to convince a jury or a decision based on prosecutor priorities).  That will NOT happen here.  No way on earth with the SEC give a stamp of approval to cloud mining, fractional reserve mining, ICO sales, etc.   A no action letter won't happen because that would be a green light to the world to engage in fractional reserve mining, cloud shares selling, ICO sales, etc. all the types of conduct GAW has engaged in.  Even if the SEC fails to take action, it will NEVER give any stamp of approval for these activities either expressly (never happens anyway) or implicitly through a no-action letter.

Gava is right also that the SEC will NEVER issue the letter suggested by Mr. Coins that will expressly approve anything.  That just doesn't happen, ever.

IF the SEC fails to take action, it is because they have other bigger fish to fry, are still collecting evidence, and/or do not have evidence of wrongdoing severe enough to warrant the full weight of the federal government.  That is a FAR cry from approval or a no action letter.  Still I think the SEC will do something here but they work on their own timeline, not ours.

Why should I pay more because other people are irresponsible children with no self control? Are you glad you have to pay more because of smokers? Besides, charging more would encourage you to quit eating maccas all day, making you healthier and affording you cheaper health care. Everybody wins. So I guess you've just made a great argument against privacy.

thats insane. your views are short sighted. i can barely accept new yorks large soda ban. and its obvious you do not think of some people who are not so well off than you are. healthy food is expensive in some places. its statistically provable that poor people are more likely to eat mcdonalds (daily). so lets tax the poor more to make them buy more expensive food, great approach. less freedom is always good overall  

my approach would be to look why stuff like corn subsidies are so high
