It basically enables people to privately share links.

If you have a service offering good quality links, you can create a little market and loyal user base for yourself using the chat feature.

People selling links should end up promoting vTorrent. For example, aspiring bands can create a mix tape or video and let their followers know its available >>> the fans pay and the links are provided.

The torrent download process can start. You don't need a central service to upload and distribute your stuff. You can do it from your own hard drive.

Cryptoguru also shows how many nodes etc are online (at least from its side) so is an easy way to see that the network is up and running

Dear all,

We are currently having some issue with our network, the problems lies within the way new client stakes, which isn't exactly a bug as it was actually designed to help reduce CPU usage and keep CPU cycles for other part of the client.

Once we reached our next hardfork this staking problem should be solved by itself, but until then I am also working on a fix and actually anybody with decent coin weight should be able to move the block forward by staking.

In other news, our own block-explorer is being tested and is catching up to the current block, if anybody interested please check it out at following address

Our block-explorer now maybe giving slow response as it is still on development server but it will be much better once we move to production server later on.

An old post, read it carefully:

Windows wallet no active connections as of 23 Dec. It worked OK since launch. Any ideas?

Please try to add nodes from the first post.

The new beta client will have all of those nodes hard coded and should requires no further action from users.

I've made a txt file and saved with nodes. Does it need a specific name and place to go as Its still not working. Thanks.

Put all the nodes in text file and save it as 'vTorrent.conf' then move/copy it according to your operating system

For Windows:

The file AppData folder is hidden by default so make sure to enable viewing hidden files.

2. place these nodes in notepad
3. save the notepad file as vtorrent.conf
4. save the file in the directory where your vtorrent wallet is located (see dev instructions above)
5. careful not to save your tile as vtorrent.conf.txt (check when you are saving in notepad that you select 'All files' if you're on windows.

Actually, if more people were staking, I think the chain would be zinging along.

I suggest you do more research on VTR, the user base it can tap into is gigantic.
