personally, i don't care, but closed case looks more 'retailish', I agree.

Go to bitmaintech.com, add to cart, put in your shipping address and it will tell you exactly.  If you order today, you can still get January 8 ship date.

I've another 2 small questions.. If someone could answer me please (sorry for being noob).

1) If you buy it you only need to buy a  PSU and then connect to the antminer right, follow tutos and then you'll get your estimated hashes right ? You  don't need to do anything more?

2) Btw, I've seen that Amp suggested are 70A (So would be a problem if you connect this item into your home at some room ?

Thanks in advance

You will need an ethernet cable (at least cat 5) as well so you can connect to your router (NOT PC!). Miner will find your network, but you will need to find it's IP by using advanced Ip scanner on PC or iNET on a Mac (it will be called antminer). Then, you connect to this IP adddress in the browser by simply typing it in in the www window, like 192.168.1.120
To get amperage, you divide ~600W (at default speed, but could be slightly higher) by your wall voltage (110/120, 220 or 240)=amperes at the wall
However, you would NOT be able to live in the same room as this miner (unless you extensively modify it with one or even two "silent" fans).

Speaking of power at the wall. Has anyone done any tests to see what power is being pulled at the wall? And if so, what kind of 80 Plus rating and wattage does your PSU have. Just wondering at what efficiency and % load that Bitmain got 590W at the wall?

My review is at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=908126.0. My 750W Bronze rated PSU has plenty of power for maximum overclocking.

S5 Question - possibly noob question apologies if this has been covered.

"PSU: A power supply unit is not included, and you will need to provide an ATX PSU. There are 4 PCI-e connectors for +12V DC input and all four are required. Do not connect more than one PSU to the same hashing board."

A CX500M has two PCI-E plugs. True or false, a single S5 could be powered by two 500W PSUs as long as you don't cross streams. One PSU per board.

I have a number of Corsair PSU's, several with enough power and enough PCI-E plugs to run an S5. As I have a number of lower power PSUs that only have 2x PCI-E outs, can I utilize two PSUs to run a single S5?
Would you be able to mix and match PSU cables if you have a dimesional door and Marshmallow Man around to absorb the energy?

Haven't tried, but the numbers look fine. You should get both at least at stock speeds, maybe even a little overclocking.

So these ones are setup to use DHCP out of the box instead of static 192.168.1.whatever the old ones were?

Yes, it comes preconfigured to grab DHCP.

yes so if you are  a router with 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 it finds an ip address.

this means you need an ip scan program.  I think angry ip or advanced ip are still good for windows.

I am running my home on macs so I am no longer sure if the 2 above are still good links

Yes, it comes preconfigured to grab DHCP.

Once it got the IP through DHCP, you will see the MAC address in web gui as well, so you can link (reserve) IP address and MAC address of your miner in the router settings, meaning that router will not change the IP address for your miner, although it is still going through DHCP (Not static).
This might be a good idea because you can "lose" the IP you setup first time, making it necessary to check again, which is a nuisance when you have many miners.
My router is constantly changing my phone, laptop, etc IP addresses otherwise.
