While GeoCashing is being developed, someone should go hide a GeoCoin paperwallet on http://geocaching.com and see if that person comes to this forum!

Maybe add a qrcode with a link to this thread onto the paper wallet.

Sounds like a great promotional idea 

I'd be willing to drop one off in a Geocache once the paperwallet is ready, I've found over 200 geocaches from geocaching.com!

You can go to http://cryptolife.net/upwg/ to create paper wallets for any coin. You would select PUBKEY_ADDRESS = 38 for GeoCoin

The way I made the paper wallet for:

was buy using the cryptolife.net open source code and changing the line

var getvalue = document.getElementById('FIRSTBIT').value;

It was really that easy. You then style the page however you want and design the graphics.

BTW... the graphics are base64 encoded into the html page. It makes it a bit harder to edit and understand.

Once the hot wallet site is all built, it should have a feature to do gifts like this as well. This is a one time gift that can be scanned 1 time.




The Forever gift is almost complete. It will allow the same qrcode to be found multiple times. The amount of times the qrcode can be scanned as well as the amount it pays out can be edited in real time.

We've been hard at work developing digital geocaching technology and have had a lot of fun alpha testing it. I'm excited to announce we will be opening our HTML5 GeoCashing Wallet to the public for beta use on April 7th, 2015. Simply sign up and you can start GeoCashing right away. Using your smart phone or other GPS enabled device, track down the GeoGoins on the map. When you get close to a GeoCoin, it will be credited to your account. You can also drag and drop GeoCoins on the map for others to find! There will be a limited number of beta signups. The announcement will be made on this thread.

You dropped the atomic bomb. Very impressed! The first aim is fast climbing to 50.000 sat range. There are only 950k coins in circulation with very slow inflation, this coin is rare. Keep it up, guys

GEO is good coin, with sense, if i can tell. What annoying me are the people who turned on their farms to mine GEO and than they will just dump the price. The similar happened with GAP coin.

I think that can't take affect , because of the small block reward and higher diff, but its not impossible. I think when ppl realize the real potential of this system , they will prefer investing in it than just dump it.
For some of them would be late of course , because their precious valuable amount will be dumped and forgotten. Cheers

Yeah , definitely there a lot of mining power , but the network , respectively the diff have grown twice last couple of days. Soon will be even higher , so the miners wont be seduced to dump at all ...
